If you can't draw, ask some one to do it for you. Better yet, write a nice description of your character! This is RP, describing actions is kind of the point, so a good description should be fine.
If you use real people...well maybe you can get away with it a little more. Just don't use a celebrity or any one well known. Most people can imitate real people better than anime characters, but most still don't do it well enough.
It lacks creativity, and as someone who likes art, I find it sad.
So many people on this forum seem like they have great imaginations and ideas...why waste it on something that you have to compare to when you can do your own thing?

16. Me too. I generally lose interest in my OTPs when they become canon, because... it's not that interesting to me any longer. I like imagining how their relationship would develop, and though I loves me some marital happiness fic, I just prefer the start of relationships and UST XD;
