17. Isn't the point of pre-hair divorce Luke to make the player be REALLY REALLY FUCKING ANNOYED BY HIM AND WANT TO PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE? I know I did.

But I do love post-hair divorce Luke.

Also, I agree that Luke needs a better wardrobe. But I do find it amusing he's one of only like...two guys who wears actual pants.

Plus while I love Guy, I can't see where the rampant OMG GUY'S SO BADASS love comes from.

It's the fact that he can stand up for others no matter what happens. Guy was the only one who went back to look for Luke when they left him in Yulia City. Guy also broke out of his phobia to save Anise, Tear, and a whole bunch of other girls and his tragic past shows how strong he is if he's willing to do anything to live. He's also adorkable, so there's that, too. But yeah, I see Guy as the most strongest out of the group, and he motivates me to keep going on with my life a hellavalot, too.

17. To be honest, I couldn't stand Luke for the very beginning of the game, but I stuck around for the other characters. And then Luke changes, and he becomes much less of a whiny bitch and moar adorable, and now I feel bad that I hated him in the first place. ;; So, yeah, I suggest playing a little more.

40. OC or not, I think most RPers want to do their characters justice, non? Playing a character from an already established work of fiction isn't exactly easy. Also, I don't really understand how RPing non-OC characters and writing fanfiction are different. I mean, people slaughter characterization just as much in badfic, don't they?

I know many people try to do characterization right, in RP and fanfictoin both. My major problem is the people who take a picture of Squall, use the name Darksquall, and then make up some Gary Stu that is nothing like Squall. (I have seen this happen! WHY?!?)
I just wish people would expand more...they have talent, so why not do something of your own that no one can say is OOC or whatnot.
For some reason I see RPing as actively messing up something for other people, while fanfiction can be an expansion that does not necessarily have to damage any other person. Plus, I find most people who write fanfiction try harder than those who steal pictures/character names. This was mostly pointed at the stealers who don't care.

34: It's probably a bad idea to take F!S at face value. A lot of people have admitted to making secrets up just to see what the reaction is. A lot of people probably post unpopular or minority or strange opinions just so that somebody will say "YES OMG ME TOO!". Doesn't have to mean it's really a "secret", per se... just that they'll get a better reaction here than on their own journals.

(I've been really tempted to do a secret about how fucking stupid I think the Temeraire books are, which... I don't keep my mouth shut about that, so technically it's not a secret, but everyone on my flist is a Novik fan, so if I say "man, Throne of Jade is soooo boring", I won't get much response; if I say it here there's probably somebody out of this comm's 2000+ watchers who agrees with me.)

...though, all that said, some people are just crazy. Good luck with the thesis!
