What non-practical thing would you do if you were rich?

I would probably sink a backload of cash into my almost heritage house. Then turn it into some kind of business. B&B or coffee shop, I can't decide which.

The reason I need a backload of cash to do this, and I can't do it now? So I can hire other people to do all the work. :P

buy geeky collectibles, the beautiful expensive ones. There's a music box for my favorite character's theme song that's gorgeous, but of course was like $500... fifteen years ago. Now I imagine it's... a lot, lot more.

I'd make myself this room

I'd buy a house with enough rooms in it that I could do fun things with the extra space, like a room with a floor entirely made of bed.

Stalk WWE live shows, lol. Just follow them around and go to like every show. That shit is fun and I'd get to travel, which is something I've always wanted to do.

Go to Japan and eat kit kats.

Buy some books, of the "one used copy starting at $85" type on Amazon. I'm not a rare book collector, there are just some that I want to read, that happen to be really rare (damn you, guy who destroyed almost every copy of a book because it made fun of you... they never reprinted it).

Give lots of money anonymously to people on the internet... like if someone was trying to raise money to pay for school or their dog's operation, I'd send them like $800 and not tell them I did it.

I'd build an awesome house with space for all the toys I'm going to buy. And a maid service to keep it clean. Also, I'd hire a driver to drive me everywhere.

And I'd buy an island I could vacation to.

fund the construction of the biggest, most impractical yet amazing-looking cosplays of characters I don't even really like anymore just to say I had the money to do it. Shitloads of armor, 3D printed props, feathered wings so big I can't even fit through doorways, so much actual silk.

because everything else I want to do when rich is entirely practical, including vacations to Japan, Australia, Ireland, Thailand, and lots of other places.

I want a tower.

And I'd have an indoor rock wall.

I want a giant library in my house. And then spend money filling it to look like a classical library you see in movies.

I would be that idiot who went around investigating haunted places. Yes, I've seen the horror movies but c'mon, I am curious and I am not a cat.

That and I would have every stitch of clothing that I wear custom made just for my body. From my outerwear to my underwear. I've always wanted that. To have everything tailor made just for me.

Massive pool with like three waterfalls, a rope to swing in on, a kick-ass slide ... etc.

Build my own Hobbiton, down to the last detail with real hobbit homes and of course, Bag End for myself.

Travel a lot. Fund some cat and dog rescue organizations. Hire some people to help landscape.

Idk the last one might actually be practical because it increased the property value. But... whatever.
