4: It is very, very hard to make LJ friends. Most of my friends are either from other places online, or real life. But it is possible - Flyingskull I met in ffrants and we bonded over character analysis, of all things.

I'd offer to be your friend, but my journal is mostly inactive. Still, I hope things work out for you. =)

So I read your secret and I bet this is why they don't care- the same reason I have several people on my f'list who I don't care about - I bet your comments are a handful of words and a load of kwai/emoticon bullshit: boring. I bet your entries are that: boring.

If you want "friends" try friending a load of emotionally insecure fucktards - they'll care and comment like anything if it gets you to like them.

I also think it's cute that you have to hide under anonymous in order to make such a negative comment lest your flist realizes that you're kind of a jerk. But that's okay! I'm sure you're a lovable jerk. :3

Still! You have given me advice and helpful or not I must thank you! So, thanks. I don't have a problem with emoticon abuse and I seem to make a handful of people laugh, buuuuut~ I will try to be more entertaining!

I'm impressed we got to page 9 before CRY MOAR, honestly.

Other people have given you good advice, but my other piece of advice would be to join some communities. I'm not in many any more but they have always been a good way to meet people and bond.

Lamarr hasn't technically died yet. Well, either she hasn't died yet, or she has, and Kleiner just keeps getting more new ones. Maybe Alyx replaces them while he's not looking, like a mom does with her kid's goldfish or hamster in stupid sitcoms.

Really, if you think about it. Heddy is in the teleporter with Gordon in Half Life 2. She jumps away from the teleporter and into a beach setting, yet you don't see her on the highway chapter. But, somehow, when you get back to Kleiner's lab later, SHE'S THERE AGAIN.

THIS TOTALLY ADDS CREDIBILITY TO MY THEORY.

Creating content gets you friends.

Make something, anything. Icons, wallpaper, picspam, recs and reviews, fics, or drawings. Post them in select communities, without spamming multiple ones. Maybe no one will be interested at first, but eventually they definitely will come around. People who produce work are always fascinating to others!

(Seriously, produce enough and be active enough and you'll be popular in no time.)
