(Anonymous) 2015-06-16 02:20 am (UTC)(link)You don't can't be arsed to comment? Fine.
Writers won't be arsed to make things for ungrateful brats.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-16 04:18 am (UTC)(link)You know, there just might possibly be other reasons that your fics aren't getting many comments, aside from reader ingratitude. It's important to grammar.
Re: nayrt
(Anonymous) 2015-06-16 10:29 am (UTC)(link)But the moment you stop writing because it's fun and start writing for comments, you might as well stop writing altogether.
If not getting comments makes you lose confidence and lose the will to write... well, maybe you should stop? It could be that people are lazy and don't want to comment, or it could be that people actually don't enjoy your writing. You could always try to find some sort of community where you can get some honest feedback, and then you can decide wether you want to keep writing or not.
Also remember that tumblr has made people stop leaving comments. If they have to do more than push a button, they can't be arsed to do it.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-16 06:14 pm (UTC)(link)Learn to write things people like or learn to advertise yourself and make people like you if you want comments.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-16 06:28 pm (UTC)(link)There's also such a thing as writers who think they deserve comments and complain if they get less than ten comments on a one shot fic.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-16 01:38 pm (UTC)(link)And the thing is, they really DON'T owe you anything, just as you don't owe them anything. The fact that you created something doesn't entitle you to accolades or attention anymore than the fact that someone wants something entitles them to have their wishes fulfilled.
