Everything my Mormon facebook friend posts.

She used to be really open minded and, err, dare I say, "liberal". I was never friends with her, but we were classmates so the facebook add happened. She ended up getting knocked up, married the dad, and after a bad divorce a year after decided to go back to her family's faith.

Now... everything she posts pretty much offends me, especially since she's taken an anti-LGBT stance (and she was very supportive of me being gay before). But she does it in that fake, "I'm such a nice Mormon" kind of way. She just posted a rant about Caitlin Jenner, and was passive aggressively posting about gay marriage in the USA infringing on religious rights.

but idk I could just unadd her, but we have a cordial enough relationship on the off chance we run into one another, and as long as she's not personally attacking me or getting into arguments on my FB, I figure I should live and let live.

But would you expect her to put up with your posts if you repeatedly posted about how terrible Mormonism is?

I would at least hide her posts on your feed if you don't want to block her outright, anon.

Totally agree with you on the computer thing. I'm the calmest person ever but once the internet slows or disconnects I go into rage mode.

Hahaha yes. Someone tried to explain to me that harrier hawks have hooked beaks - when I'd just said that I'd gone to falconry classes for years.

Someone else explained where I could find Venus in the evening sky when I'd just been talking about the eighteenth-century transits of Venus. I think I'd know where to look for it in the present day!

People calling me stupid or otherwise implying that I'm unintelligent. Or people calling me selfish (though that may also make me break down in tears instead. Thanks for that one, mom!)

People bashing on other people for food choices they don't agree with or know the reason for (diet soda, gluten free, vegan, fries without salt, no tomatoes, low carb, extra mayo, Fad Diet #37, etc.). If it's not going in your mouth, you have no say in the matter.

We gotta come down hard on veganism or it'll spread though. I don't want to live in a world where having bacon is the abnormal choice and having fungus-protein supplement is the norm. NO! The line must be drawn here, this far and no farther!

Working at McDonald's was my first part time job, and the people who ordered fries without salt were the MOST annoying. They wanted like, the freshest fries, because they knew we would have to cook a special new batch just for them. And I'm fairly certain, 99% of the time, they would just add their own salt right after anyway. It was just a massive inconvenience for everyone, made other customers' orders slower, and usually so fake. tbh the fries would never sit out that long anyway, doing rush times they were basically always "fresh". (and if you really want fries without salt, I'm not even sure why you're at McDonald's anyways, but whatever)

Violating my personal space. People who don't know what they're talking about but who insist on acting like they do.

Seeing names of people that I've cut from my life on my dashboard. I wish they'd just fucking disappear off of the face of the earth.

Loaded questions, usually. But mostly when it's done by someone who's doing it deliberately to get a rise out of me.

For example, someone who once assumed the role of parent (but really, only on paper) would constantly say in a demanding/butthurt voice, "WHY are you so MAD?!?!?!??!!??" It didn't matter whether I was mad or not. Just responding to this individual was like playing asshole roulette.

People getting super pissed at small things. Like, yeah it sucks that a toddler spilled juice on you but is it necessary to wish death on said child and their family?

People telling me what to do who do not have a valid reason (i.e manager is good, someone on the same level as me is not. ASK. ASK ME.). People telling me how I feel/felt "You didn't like X"... yes, I did. wtf.

trying to call my doctor and getting re-directed to three separate receptionists who ask me the same series of questions, who then put me on hold just to end up at my doctor's voicemail, rather than talking to a real person. I didn't call to talk to a fucking voicemail!!
