Lord of the Rings- books or movies. Anything Tolkien really. Books, movies, fandom, all of it.

Harry Potter for books mostly and some of the movies and very much the fics.

Doctor Who.

Babylon 5.

Parts of it are happy. And I mostly took Happy Place to mean either the thing you'll watch over and over again or something you'll watch when you're having a bad day. And Babylon 5 fits both of those for me.

Oh, I get it. Yeah, that fits. I tend to rewatch the grimdark B5 episodes for more cathartic reasons, personally. So much so I can't really think of the "happy" ones right now LOL.

I don't really watch tv episodes for that sort of reason mostly because it is rare to find things that hit my cathartic buttons because my cathartic buttons are just so dark. Although I think I did watch some of the G'Kar being tortured episodes for that purpose once. Mostly I turn to fics, though.

I do watch the one Doctor Who episode with Vincent Van Gogh for cathartic reasons when I'm feeling particularly bad about myself.

B5 is what I watch when I'm sad or having a bad day. When I'm having a bad day I just want to immerse myself in a fictional world. So that tends to be the most unique and completely thought out ones. So Tolkien or Babylon 5 mostly. Star Wars sometimes.
