I take it by bullying you mean repeated or sustained picking on? Or following around and singling out someone to harass?

I'd bet we're all guilty of making fun of someone else at least once.

Yea, I'm not proud of it but I know I've made a few dickish remarks (more-so in my younger years) to people who didn't deserve them. (Never anything massively offensive I think, just...rude.)

But to me 'bullying' implies repeated harassment, and I didn't do that. If I was mean or rude to someone more than once, it was because they were teasing me on a regular basis and I didn't deal with it well.

I was teased all through school for various reasons. Never to the point where I felt unsafe (thankfully no one ever beat me up), and never by a large group of people (usually it was one or two people who singled me out; most people either ignored me or were polite), so I never thought of it as a serious problem... it was just irritating and hurtful.

I was a quiet, shy kid who only had a small group of friends, and spent a lot of time by myself. I didn't like to get into arguments or even stand up for myself for a long time, but at some point I decided if people were going to be assholes to me I was going to call them out for it.

...like to think I'm a bit more chill now, but there's nothing wrong with standing up for yourself.
