Epic length Royal Navy/Pirate AU starring wrestlers with a long slow burn romance, enemies to friends to lovers stuff. The pairing would preferably be Seth Rollins/Kevin Owens, and there would be some Seth!Redemption regarding his betrayed Shield brothers (but not much- they just have to work together for the greater good at one point).

Special K has a GI of 72 which is higher than cane sugar. At least having it with milk it has protein which slows the carbohydrate absorption. I mean, whatever, but it's going to take you on a blood sugar rollercoaster.

Same, kind of. Media depictions of income status are the reason I didn't realize one of my friends was rich (she doesn't live in a mansion! She doesn't have a butler or maids or take a limo to school!) and also how I didn't realize one of my other friends was poor (she doesn't live in a trailer park or shack! She doesn't wear worn out clothes and she has a TV and video games and toys!)

Since you feel so stuck, could you work on your phobia of wasps and insects? I mean that seriously. That could be a way forward. Even professional help for controlled exposure.

(I loooooove insects and have considered insect tattoos on my arms, lol. I like to put really large insects on my face to get intimate with them, like the Goliath stick insect which I used to live around.)

Not often. More when I was younger and didn't have a lot of money or a car, before things like Steam and GoG made games more accessible. Little by little I've amassed a collection of games I'd previously torrented, for far cheaper than I would have paid if I'd bought them in their original packaging. (That didn't stop me from tracking down and purchasing a couple original editions... That System Shock 2 cost me my entire birthday money and it was worth it!)

Ah, man, that's a blast from the past! I loved both that theory and the "Rinoa is Ultimecia" theory-- not that I necessarily believed them, but they were super creative takes on things that made for interesting thought experiments.

"Squall is dead" especially helped gel the second act onwards for me, since it really was like a 180 turn in tone.

And if you don't have cable because you can't afford it? Nevermind that with the exception of certain types of movies, not all movies go to TV.

Honestly, I'm just happy when people reply to my comments. (Or on the extremely rare occasion I make a post on tumblr, someone likes or reblogs it.)

When a fic I love updates, anything new in a slow fandom (a new screen-cap from a deleted Kingsman scene was released/unearthed yesterday and I was overjoyed), when someone compliments me (not that it happens all that often, but even if it's something I'm wearing or whatever; I had my first comment on my Portal 2 messenger bag and that pleased me), when I make a nice breakfast...

My nails or makeup looking on point does it too. I'm odd, I guess.

Just because you don't "participate in fandom" doesn't mean you can't be a fan of something, either.

You should probably ask AIRT that, because I'm just responding to them.

I used to torrent currently running shows that I could watch for free anyway, so they were saved on my computer, and I could watch with headphones, and not on the DVR. I'd say I was a fan.

I actually agree with you on this 100% -- and I think that's probably partly why I don't ship them all that much. To me, the shipping is just a little superfluous and distracting compared to the other elements of their relationship. It's like "Okay, I'm going to give you all this fascinating canon fodder to work with...but instead, let's relegate all that actually interesting stuff to the side plot and focus on how they would become a couple instead." I just feel my interest completely wandering after reading a couple of slashfics. Pretty much every single other aspect of their relationship is 100x more interesting to me than the homoerotic aspects.

It's funny, because it's the opposite of how I feel in most of my slashy fandoms, where the canon friendship stuff feels a little boring and obvious, but the slashy parts are fascinating and multifaceted.

I can't tell if this comment is meant to be sarcastic or not, tbh.

I don't think she's trying to dumb him, I'd say it's much more likely that she doesn't realise that the tattoo would affect him that much. I'm terrified of dogs but a tattoo wouldn't bother me.

I'm not saying there can't be other factors, but if it's really that much of a deal to OP then it's something that his gf should take into consideration.

In movies and tv shows:

- no one saying goodbye on phones. Everyone is always just hanging up! Why is no one calling back all, "Dude you just hung up on me."
- that no one seems to close or lock doors, but then, if they did there'd be no horror movies or crime shows so... maybe that's why.
