Well, White Wolf did sue Sony Pictures, filing 17 counts of copyright infringement, claiming the concepts were lifted straight from Vampire: The Masquerade and Werewolf: The Apocalypse.

But unless he was an up-and-up in WW or was secretly a woman named Nancy A. Collins (the only listed party on the suit, claiming that the script of Underworld was taken directly from her WW short story "The Love of Monsters") he's full of crap.
