Sorry, but how does an adult tell if a girl is 18 or 16 if she says she's 18 and looks it? Do you think adults are all psychic or have magic under-18-detection powers?

When I was 16, I went to clubs all the time and did all sorts of sexual acts with guys who were older than I was. I snuck into the 18-and-over clubs or the bars and I doubt these guys knew I was 16. I was there to have a good time and I did. I have a healthy attitude about sex and wasn't scarred by the experience. People have a hair trigger about this that is mind-bogging.

I find that kind of sad. Did you not have parents?

IDK exactly, just struck me as a loss of childhood too soon or something? Really not sure but I felt very melancholy reading that.

That's your issue, not mine. I was an adult in my own mind and definitely ready for what I wanted. Americans tend to be puritanical. But no one got hurt, I didn't get pregnant, we practiced safe sex, and I learned wonderful things about my sexuality and how to be assertive about my sexual needs, which a lot of women in my age group still haven't learned, as far as I can tell from conversations I have with my friends. I've always felt lucky.

I'm glad you found some way to make your life meaningful. I'm sure others (in the US I presume) would not have such a charitable view.

But you weren't an adult, you were a precocious kid who opened her/himself up to all kinds of dangerous situations. No matter how you justify it to yourself. Where were your parents or any adult presence other than the ones who took advantage of you sexually? I feel bad for you. Even if you tell me to go fuck myself for this opinion.

Personally, I card all my sexual partners, just to be sure.

There's a chance someone might slip through screening with a convincing fake, but on the up side, the expression on most grown adults' faces when you ask to see their ID at the bedroom door is priceless.
