Can you explain why she shouldn't do it? I mean, she's an actor. Their job is to act like people they aren't. That's the definition of the entire purpose an actor has in society.

Acting and modeling involves faking attraction all the time, so, yeah.

If she was doing it with a man she wasn't attracted to, would you feel the same? Is it okay if she's bisexual, but not into that particular woman? What if she doesn't label herself as bisexual, but is open to the possibility of being attracted to a woman? What if she just likes the idea that the photo shoot will be sexy to others? If you think there's something inherently incomprehensible about being attracted to someone of the same sex, isn't that kind of othering?

These are all good questions, but tbh I think you could probably just go to the root of it and ask why we're invested in policing peoples' sexuality at all.

(I guess I wonder if you object to straight people playing gay characters, or gay actors playing straight characters? Because if you don't, then I'd ask why you have a double standard.)

It's a photoshoot, isn't it? Do you feel the same way about gay male models who are photographed with female models as though they're married/in a relationship? Or models who are only pretending to cook, jet ski, drink fancy booze, play the piano, rake leaves and all the other things models are shown doing because they're acting out a role? How about single models who don't have kids in real life, but still pose for the cover of department store catalogs with children in a happy family scene?
