I hate that UK apartments don't have either air conditioning or bug screens on the windows. Yes, there are insects that will fly in, and yes, it does get hot in the summer! :( I just checked into a hotel, a tiny, tiny little sliver of a single room, and the window was open - fine, but there were feathers on my pillow. I'm pretty sure a bird flew in at some point.

Seriously, world, put screens on your windows, you can open them at any time and no insects can come in to bother you! :) Bug screens for everyone!

Alternatively, air conditioning. Or both. But not at the same time!

Air conditioning, outside of shops, really isn't a THING here in the UK, mainly because whilst it does get hot sometimes in the summer, it just doesn't get hot enough as a whole to justify it in households. I don't know anyone who has air conditioning in their house. Literally no one.

I guess I really take for granted my air conditioning and screens. We have AC at home but during spring/fall, we'll just open all the windows because there's screens on ALL of them so no bugs get in.

AC isn't really a thing where I am either. It normally just doesn't get hot enough for it. ...Screens on the windows are though.

I remember thinking the same thing when I was over there. It wasn't summer, but I thought the windows looked funny to me, and I didn't work out why until I thought they were very clear. You just don't see windows that open without fly screen here.

Also people just have one door. Where is your screen door?

I get really annoyed when people submit small and/or unreadable secrets. Like... why wouldn't you want your secret to be legible? Presumably you're posting because you want an audience for your secret, so why would you make it so hard to read? "I don't know how" is not an acceptable answer, because you could figure it out. It's not rocket science.

I want Coronation and Birthday dresses for my Anna and Elsa dolls but these editions are out of stock in stores where I live and too damn expensive to buy online from foreign sellers.

Not really a complaint, but I've always found things like "wear this shirt to support AIDS" or "post to support child cancer" annoying, because it looks like the person is supporting those things happening. I know they're not, I know they mean support people with it and the fight and all, but the wording makes me cringe every time.

I bought this filet of salmon because it was "wild caught" but when I defrosted it, it smelled far more fishy than the salmon I usually get does.

I cooked it anyway because I hate wasting food and money... I guess if I start upchucking violently, I'll have a culprit.

I posted a bunch of secrets the other week and was so excited for today because I was so sure one of them would be posted. Alas, that was not to be.

Why do they make it so hard to find those damn chips? I want to try the Biscuits and Gravy ones but I can't find them for sale ANYWHERE! The Truffle Fry ones were great but they just take like mild Sour Cream and Onion.

Today is a bad pain day, and I don't want to get up and go to the doctor.

I need to go to the doctor to discuss pain management.

I don't really like talking to people when I'm in pain either, because I can hear myself being short and snippy when I don't mean to be, and it makes me want to cry.

My hair looks like shit because I couldn't shower yesterday with the migraine. I won't have the energy to get myself in and out of the car if I shower properly today either, so I guess I'll just stick a beanie over it. I'm going to be in a wheelchair anyway so people are going to stare.

I'm not feeling positive today. I just need to grit my teeth and get through what needs to be done so I can come back and sleep some more.

I hate job hunting. Hate it. It's not that I've been at it a while or my prospects are slim or anything, but just the fact that I have to do it makes me want to hide my head under the pillow and never get up.

I honestly don't think there is *anything* I avoid more than job hunting.

I have a horrible, horrible case of poison ivy (oak? sumac?) on my arm, and scattered in a couple places on my leg and i react horribly and it's swollen and itchy and fucked up looking and it's been almost a week and OMFG will it please just go away now!!!

And i'm paranoid because it looks so bad that it's something *else*, or more, and i'll have to go to the clinic and i don't really have the money. Fucking bullshite.

If I had wanted to dance, I would have joined a dance troupe. I can't dance, but I'm a pretty good singer, so I joined a choir. For my sins, the director has decided to do this super-annoying "choralgraphy" shit with a song I would otherwise have loved. We have to step this way, step that way, do stupid things with our hands...I am lousy at it and it makes rehearsal horrible.
