Text: For the past 3 years, the part I look most forward to is having my virtual birthday party in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Not sure what that says about my life...

My universe is fantastic. We have cookies. Levo AND dextro cookies. All are welcome.

What do you think crew members would do for Shep's birthday? Mordin would sing, of course. EDI would be confused and Joker would have to explain it to her. Liara would remark that asari get tired of birthdays after a few centures and Shepard should enjoy theirs while they can. I want to see what kinds of food they'd bring! And drink. There'd have to be booze because drunk Tali is best Tali.

...I'm not very creative, unfortunately. :( If I were I'd totally be writing a fic of this.

Mordin would definitely lead a birthday song (that he wrote) for Shepard, but I'm not sure about the others. I think Liara might give Shepard a sentimental gift because while birthdays don't mean much to Asari, she would understand the significance to humans, and Jack would either show up with booze or some gag gift. Maybe she would give Shepard some sex toys, IDK.

I wouldn't be surprised if Thane shared a memory significant to him (and relevant to Shepard), because he seems the type. Don't think he would be buying a gift... Wrex might try to stage some contest, lol.

I'm not creative enough either, but it's a nice thought!

Wrex would probably not understand why it's a big deal (since krogan are also very long-lived...though they also die a lot so maybe it would be a bigger deal to them than asari?) but he'd stand around and watch until he'd had too much to drink, then he'd party loudly and wholeheartedly and maybe accidentally break a few bones.

I think one of the human crew members might jokingly bring up "pin the tail on the donkey" when an alien asked what humans do at birthday parties, and Garrus would immediately invent a version of it using guns.

Jack would either show up with booze or some gag gift. Maybe she would give Shepard some sex toys, IDK.

It would also be interesting to see this from her perspective. She grew up completely robbed of a normal childhood so birthday parties might be painful to her. IDK.

I think someone should buy a reaper-themed piñata.

oh, and Liara would be likely to buy a sentimental gift, but now that I think about it, she'd also be likely to try her hand at making the cake. XD

If I recall Fire Emblem Awakening has something like this. You can put in your birthday as the Avatar's and on that day you get a birthday message and presents. It's nice.

Or am I thinking of some other game?

Same here, OP. My AC birthday is always better than anything irl for me. I tend to make friends with Snooty villagers the easiest and they're such sweethearts when they throw the party.

Pokemon nowadays at least acknowledges your birthday, but not to the extent of AC.
