How did their rivalry start?

I honestly didn't notice it until that day when Dethtoll accused Herpy of being his stalker or Fedora!Anon. But it was obvious from the convo that their antipathy went back farther than that.

The only other spat I saw was the more recent one in which Dethtoll spoiled a movie Herpy recommended and they argued and Deathtoll called Herpy a dildo.

It's hilarious, but I just want to know how it started!

I want to say it was vegetarian!wank? But it might have been something older.

Which one is a vegetarian? And when was that wank?

Herpy is pronouncedly vegetarian.

Don't remember when it was - the months all flow together on F!S.

I think it was last year sometime?

I mostly dislike Herpy because he's a bigger prick than me and I don't like the competition.

And here you go reminding me why I like you and find herpy annoying.

I would also like to know this, tbh.

I would've thought you would have remembered because I'm pretty sure there was a specific moment where dethy, like, swore unceasing vengeance against you

(Also I want to establish early on here that I like both dethy and derpy for the most part and I think they are both cool and as far as I am concerned this is a no hate zone)

Uhh no not really lol. I just kind of remember him being hostile for about as long as I've been around.

But then, he's kind of hostile in general so for quite a long time I just figured that was his nature.

Edit: Actually for all I know that might really be his nature. It's not like we speak a whole lot.

I don't know... Dethtoll does show humility sometimes. But I've never seen Herpy apologize for anything, and if you call him an asshole for saying something hurtful, he acts like he's the victim.

nayrt - Herpy's the bigger asshole, IMO. Dethtoll has the rep, and people just sort of don't notice or forget herpy's dickishness. Yesterday's "oh noesssss won't somebody plz think of the spoilers!" snit fit is a mild example. No idea why people give him a pass.
