I'm looking for a certain kind of Tumblr blogs to follow, and I have a few to rec myself, so ask for recs or rec your own favourites! Pimping your own blog is okay too.

I would like to find a blog that pays attention to some of the more over looked disney films (live action / animation) of the past twenty years or so. Some of them are really cool.

I'm glad so many of these exist, writing prompts are my favourite thing! If you have any others to rec, I'd love to see them too!

Prompts that are normally quotes. Rather boring as writing inspiration to me (and it does seem to be a bit hipster-y and edgy, but I can’t tell if they’re trying to be diverse or if they just like prompts like that), but interesting quotes are always cool.

One of my favourite prompt blogs, the ones the bloggers post themselves are always really interesting. I do think that they fall flat in creativity when they answer to requests for prompts, and they accept submissions which are also occasionally unimaginative, but it’s definitely worth it.

I really love these dorks and there are amazing graphics and things out there, but I'm having a really hard time looking for the part of fandom that isn't obnoxious or hateful. I knew the fandom would be really typical of a Tumblr fandom with over-the-top fangirls and whatnot when I joined, but there has to be a sane side that aren't obsessed with proving Dan and Phil are dating or hate on whatever Tumblr says is cool to hate this week, right?

I just want a Tumblr blog that reblogs fan edits, gifs and artworks of haikyuu, kuroko no basuke, pokemon, tales of games and personas 3, 4 and 5 (or any JRPG for that matter). I also don't mind if one posts cute things like Little Twin Stars, Hello Kitty, Rilakkuma, desserts/food, original artworks, scenery and architecture.

I'm looking for more blogs to follow that are more serious. I'm interested in reading or contributing to serious, in-depth discussions.

I just wanted to check, you don't want blogs that hate on the movies, right? I follow a bunch of people who have long serious debates about all aspects of Tolkien but they're also really down on the movies and Tauriel. Not sure if you'd be okay with that.

I actually don't mind movie hate. I do like them, but I also have lots of problems with them. And people having different opinions doesn't bug me.

(same user - on the first blog, she has great essays about LOTR but she really hates the hobbit movies, Tauriel, and Thorin. For you, I would check out Tolkien's-Female-Characters where she has a series of essays on how cool the women in Tolkien are. Her other site is more random stuff but she and two other people have a long discussion going on about Tauriel, mostly picking her apart but there's some interesting stuff too. I'm not sure if you want to wade into that but they're pretty polite)
