F!S Anon Meme (the ??th!)

F!S Anon Meme (the ??th!)

Secrets, rants, opinions, anything you want to say about your fandom or a fandom or fandom in general, do it here! Anonymously, of course. Get it all off your chest.

Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required.
2. No autoplaying/autolooping embeds, or embeds that cover/stretch the screen.
3. No dropping personal info or IRL contact info, etc.

That's about it, though!

I'll be linking some general/general-fandom threads I see so people don't repost new threads with the same stuff. If you want me to link your thread up here, drop a link in the first comment!

Writing/art prompts

I'm glad so many of these exist, writing prompts are my favourite thing! If you have any others to rec, I'd love to see them too!

As the name implies, mostly OTP stuff, and largely AU at that, but they post quite a bit about tropes in a lot of different kinds of stories.

In the same vein as the above, though unfortunately doesn’t have a tagging system at all.

Sets of sentence prompts, as well as reblogging the standard AU/OTP stuff and occasionally a bit of writing advice.

Generally lengthy/descriptive ship prompts, pretty cool if you’re looking for original ideas to write, they get kind of specific to apply to just any OTPs in fanfiction imo.

Sentence prompts, picture prompts, and even song prompts!

Asks questions about world building or character development, it’s pretty useful when they come up with questions related to your story/character. I find some of the questions posted rather strange ('Has your character ever wanted to stab someone with a pointy object?’) but I’m sure these questions are super appropriate for certain kinds of stories and characters.

Lots of different kinds of prompts, really cool for generating ideas.

Posts a prompt a day, obviously. Usually a theme or a line of dialogue. It’s kind of generic though imo but they are pretty varied.

Another one of those OTP things. I think this one especially is really typical of an ‘imagine-your-otp’ blog but they are pretty fun.

Similar to the above, but I find this one more interesting.

Prompts that are normally quotes. Rather boring as writing inspiration to me (and it does seem to be a bit hipster-y and edgy, but I can’t tell if they’re trying to be diverse or if they just like prompts like that), but interesting quotes are always cool.

One of my favourite prompt blogs, the ones the bloggers post themselves are always really interesting. I do think that they fall flat in creativity when they answer to requests for prompts, and they accept submissions which are also occasionally unimaginative, but it’s definitely worth it.
