5. A loanword =/= Engrish. Lots of Japanese people use "happy birthday" instead of the more formal "(o)tanjoobi omedetoo". I have no idea what that fandom is, but it seems weird to laugh at someone using a loanword that's in common use.

21. Please tell me you're not actually breeding kittens so you can name them after characters' non-existent kids. If you are, and you're not a licensed breeder, you should go to an animal shelter some time and see the results of the irresponsible acts of people like you.

I watched the anime before I read the manga, but when L said "Watari?" in that tiny little voice and stared up at the screen, I lost it. Was crying so hard that I had to pause it, because I knew what was coming next, and I had to gather myself for the next round of sobbing.
