I don't like him and I don't hate him. he's tolerable. Riley's biggest sin was not being Angel. He genuinely cared for Buffy, and couldn't take that she didn't love him back the same way.

That being said, if I was Buffy, I would have dumped his ass the minute I realized that he couldn't tell me from my psychotic sister Slayer. And if I had taken him back, if that thing with the vamp whores would have happened, I would have staked him where the sun don't shine.

And to be perfectly frank, I can't take the Riley-hate super seriously when there are loads of fics about Riley being killed by his cows or titled 'The Very Horrible and Wretched Death of Riley Finn.' It's so ludicrous that it can't be taken seriously.

I hate his neediness in S5. Hello, it's not always about you and what you need. It's about Buffy and what she needs! I liked him well enough before then, and I thought he was good for Buffy.

1.) Egh, not a fan of that pairing at all. Neville being The Chosen One would have been cool though >_>

3.) I think you may have a point. Not that people would suddenly think Louise deserved it (IIRC, there was a lot of "Holy shit" on /m/ when the episode was airing / pics were being posted from 2chan, and we didn't know what had happened) but that Hal would get more of a pass.

54.) Yeah, grown into an awful character that resembles his old self only vaguely. >_> (As always, IMO, because people seem to be very touchy about that).

Honestly, I'd be wary of anybody who uses HoboNick as a role model just because of all the shady shit he pulls.

Except the RP servers bit. That's just frustrating, I'll admit. I rolled on a RPPVP server and haven't found a RP guild yet. Are they all Alliance or something? ;_;

Nah, I can understand why you might feel otherwise. Ethically, I would feel he's fallen from grace from his PW 1-3 days, but his naiviety was a weakness that made me both love and fear for him at the same time during PW1-3, because it makes him an easy target for all sorts of reasons.

But still, I personally would give him respect for (being a stubborn survivor, if you will) for toughing out most of the shit he's been getting in his life, and to me even though his systematic methods of 'revenge' borders on somewhat questionable, the other aspects of his character doesn't make me doubt there is still much of the old Phoenix retainde inside him. For one, he hasn't turned edgethworth emo yet, so I'm thankful for that, especially since Edgey isn't a character in GS4 and that spot is open. lol.

Also, somewhere on the deep recesses of the opposing side of my brain matter, my mental version of his change when the incident first happened was really a dispaired, angry and obsessed, in short a more painful opposite Hobo!Phoenix. So by comparison, this version feels mello to me, like he's already been through the roughest phase and worked it out, and is already a 'rehabed version', a little damaged and worse for wear, but looking to move on and slowly recover what he had lost and what was taken from him, part of it being the old Phoenix. Yeah I know, TL;DR. haha...

oh well, we can still fangirl about PW1-3 together at least, can't we? :)

53. I only watch Nickelodeon for Spongebob anymore. After being subjected to hours of Drake & Josh and iCarly at Christmas, I've lost faith in anything Nickelodeon puts out. My sister told me to remember that these shows are this generation's Clarissa and Pete & Pete, but I don't care. Clarissa and all those shows didn't rely on LOL RANDOM humor and breaking obviously fake furniture for laughs. (Okay, Kenan and Kel and All That did a little bit, but it's still better than what's on now.)
