I wish some trans men wouldn't try to have it both ways, i.e. claiming not to have male privilege, trying to participate in women only/lesbian circles. Either you're a man or you're not, and if you are, accept you're going to be held to the same standard as every other men. Anything other than that would be misgendering you.

(Anonymous) 2015-11-26 12:21 am (UTC)(link)
>Either you're a man or you're not
How about you go fuck yourself. There are plenty of non binary gender identities:

Agender: Someone who has no gender. They are genderless.

Aliagender: Someone who defines their gender as ‘other’ or apart from existing genders.

Androgyne: Someone who identifies as androgynous, gender-wise.

Androgynous: A style of clothing or appearance, androgyny is also a type of genderqueer, the state of being inbetween man and woman, or both man and woman.

Bigender: Someone who has two genders, typically man and woman (but not necessarily). They either identify as both, or they move between the two.

Boi: From the Butch and Femme Lesbian communities, the Black/POC Lesbian and Trans* communities, queer Kink communities, and probably many others, boi is a variation on boy and can mean butch lesbians, young gay men, tomboy-like identity, DFAB trans people, sub/bottom, etc.

Demiboy: Someone partly a boy, and partly something else, without defining that other part.

Demigirl: Someone partly a girl, and partly something else, without defining that other part.

Enby (or NB): Short for Non-Binary, someone whose gender is simply non-binary.

Genderfluid (or fluid): Someone who is genderfluid moves between genders; their gender is not something that they or anyone can pin down and define.

Genderfuck (or genderf*ck): Someone who is a genderfuck purposefully messes with people concepts of gender, literally, they fuck gender.

Genderqueer: An umbrella term for all genders other than man and woman, or someone who simply identifies as another gender, a queer gender.

Gender Variant: Someone whose gender is varied, either in a fluid or static way.

Intergender: Someone whose gender is in between two other, ‘full’ genders, such as an androgyne feeling that theit gender falls between man and woman. Often used by intersex people.

Neutrois: Similar to agender, but often including transition, someone whose gender is null or neutral.

Non-Binary: An umbrella term for all genders completely outside of the man/woman binary, or someone who simply identifies as outside of the gender binary.

Pangender: Someone who is all genders. This, by literal definition, includes culturally specific genders and is problematic and probably appropriative.

Polygender: Someone who has more than one gender, either identifying as more than one gender at once, or moving between genders.

Situational Genderfluid (or situational fluid): Someone who is situationally genderfluid moves between genders based on their enviroment. As a sub-section of genderfluid, it implies a pattern.

Third gender: Unlike androgynous and agender, some people consider themselves to be a third gender, one outside the concepts of masculine and feminine, although this is hard to pinpoint, as different people experience this feeling differently.

Trigender: Someone who has three genders, either at once or moving between them.

Don't erase their identities.

lmao

(Anonymous) 2015-11-26 12:27 am (UTC)(link)
2/10 - good job copying that silly list though.

(Anonymous) 2015-11-26 12:29 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, why I'm not even surprised at this list.

(Anonymous) 2015-11-26 12:29 am (UTC)(link)
nayrt

Literally quoted off someone's tumblr post. You can tell by the misuse of "literally" and the lack of source credit.

GJ relying on sjw to miss someone else's point :)

"Someone who is a genderfuck purposefully messes with people concepts of gender, literally, they fuck gender."

Tumblr, we have to talk. This is getting out of hand. Can we just go back to man OR woman?

(Anonymous) 2015-11-26 12:40 am (UTC)(link)
Gender is just a social construct anyways.

The ruling classes used brute force to subjugate women so as to limit a competition for resources. Over time, they had to justify this subjugation to the masses via a false gender dynamic that keeps women in the subservient role.

(Anonymous) 2015-11-26 01:17 am (UTC)(link)
No, because it is not *you* that is going back anywhere. It is people who do not fit either category well that would be being forced to be something they are not. You may as well ask can we just go back to assuming everyone is straight OR gay? Because ace and bi people should just shut up and conform yo, so *you* don't have to think too hard.

cloud_riven: Red dot on a white background! An arrow pointing away towards text, "YOU"! Patronising! (You missed the point)

(Anonymous) 2015-11-26 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
okay but in the context the first anon was clearly referring to some transmen's choices to participate in women-only circles? 2/10 i guess

(Anonymous) 2015-11-26 12:48 am (UTC)(link)

no, seriously, wat

(Anonymous) 2015-11-26 04:17 am (UTC)(link)
YEAH just another way for people to not take responsibly for their actions and privilege. Please STFU and go back to Tumblr where someone gives a shit about your excuses for why you fail at life.

If you want to be a man then good for you but you can't say I am just going to take the good parts and all the shitty things like privilege I am just going to pretend I don't get that so I can go on playing the victim.

Good lord. My avoidance of Tumblr is reaffirmed. Just way too much and way too easy to fuck up.

Also this is coming from someone who does identify as genderqueer femme.

(Anonymous) 2015-11-26 09:58 pm (UTC)(link)
I think you should print a paper catalogue and start handing it out in public spaces.

(Anonymous) 2015-11-26 12:49 am (UTC)(link)
what are your feelings on trans women participating in women only circles

(Anonymous) 2015-11-26 01:35 am (UTC)(link)
Hell fuckin yeah, they're ladies.

(Anonymous) 2015-11-26 01:38 am (UTC)(link)
k cool

(Anonymous) 2015-11-26 04:23 am (UTC)(link)
It is different with MtF. They need to curb some of those learned male impulses to talk over women and dominate the situation. If a Trans* woman wants to be part of the conversation she is more than welcome. If she wants to come in and make it all about her idea of what being a woman is then she can go suck a lemon. And yes I am looking at Caitlyn Jenner and her type.

(Anonymous) 2015-11-26 06:38 am (UTC)(link)
As if most FtM's don't have a fuckton of female conditioning to curb. THAT's what people are talking about when they say someone sounds Trans. Something about the way they interact still feels female or male coded. Is it a nice thing to say? No. But it's accurate, and how often are we nice around here?

(Anonymous) 2015-11-26 12:20 pm (UTC)(link)
what a dumb comment

(Anonymous) 2015-11-26 02:40 pm (UTC)(link)
If they have transitioned and are living as women they currently have the same experiences and issues than cis women do BUT let's not forget that most of them weren't raised as women and they don't certainly have female bodies (fake boobs and vaginas are nice and all, but they don't have things like periods or can get pregnant).

So let them participate but bear in mind that in some aspects they don't share the same experiences than cis women have and in that case they should weigh their worlds.

(Anonymous) 2015-11-26 09:47 am (UTC)(link)
You're a troll, so you don't deserve this response, but I honestly can't help myself. Listen, as someone who switched sexualities recently, it becomes hard to remember that year, you aren't that anymore. Especially if you've identified as lesbian for over a decade.

And it can hurt a lot when a crowd you once hung out with (like lesbians) are now hostile to you. Everyone is acting like these "evil sneaky trans men" are trying to get in, and then there's the "evil sneaky trans women" and "evil bisexuals" all trying to ~oppress lesbians~ somehow by existing.

When it's much more likely that the trans men are just trying to figure themselves out and having a hard time saying goodbye to the communities they had before they started transitioning.

Is that what im doing as a bi woman just by existing? Well shit i better get on top of that and start writing letters of apologies to lesbians everywhere because I honestly had ni idea.

I especially had no clue that i am seen as being evil. What the actual fuck. I am either invisible, or i am this. God it sucks to be bi sometimes. Even some other LGBT persons are against you just for being who you are. :(
