Do you judge adults who get off to 2D teens/kids?

(Anonymous) 2016-03-10 12:06 am (UTC)(link)
Honest answers please. Also do you feel any different about dudes who get off to young girls compare to women who get off to young boys?

I judge them both and I judge them equally

I don't care if someone gets off to an (older) 2D teen esp since they often look like young adults IMO. Kids are creepy though, be they 2D or live action. I guess the guys who get off on young girls creep me out a bit more on a visceral level because I'm female but logically I think they're both about the same in terms of creepiness.

Nope. I'll never apologize for the hours of fun I had with Katara and Ty Lee.

Teens no (especially when they're obviously written by adults), kids yes (including the kids in like, anime that are ~secretly a thousand years old~).

How much does personality make a difference to you? (Other people can chime in too.)

No because fictional things aren't real and are often idealized versions anyway. I don't feel different about who likes what, as long real kids aren't getting hurt, since that shit fucks them up for life.

Yeah, this is how I feel too. Though on a visceral level, loli/shotacon skeeves me out.

I judge them harshly. And yeah I feel different, it just feels worse when it's a guy because I see them more likely to act it out in real life than women.

It's actively hard to determine whether that's true, due to the massive underreporting of molestation by women. How massive? For the same reason, hard to tell.

No. Fiction is harmless so there's nothing to judge.

Zero difference between men and women in this case. I judge anyone who gets off on a child, cartoon or otherwise. I think it's a bit skeevy but not so viscerally disgusting to get off on a 2d teenager (like, 16+).

Re: Do you judge adults who get off to 2D teens/kids?

(Anonymous) 2016-03-10 12:26 am (UTC)(link)
Depends on how closely they resemble actual teens, both in appearance and behavior. If someone's getting off to teens in a high school setting, then yeah. If it's a show where everyone from Fortune 500 CEOs to four-star generals is under 25 except for maybe one token "old" guy (who might be 30), then no, because god knows I'm not going to read the decorated veteran who's saved the world three times now as a 17-year-old unless it's explicitly stated, and not in supplementary material.

The answer's always yes on younger kids, though.

Adults who get off to 2D kids: Yes, but not on moral grounds. It's just another gross kink to me. I judge them like I judge people who like scat, or whatever.

Adults who get off to 2D teens: No, I am one.

Re: Do you judge adults who get off to 2D teens/kids?

(Anonymous) 2016-03-10 12:29 am (UTC)(link)
The answer depends on, do I know about it?

If not, no. If they can keep that to themselves and are hurting no one, fine.

If I do know about it, I judge them to have no sense of tact or social skills.

Hell no, people who judge others for their 2D kinks are the worst. Policing other people's fantasies is just too ridiculous for me.

Honestly, if you're getting off to 16+ yr old anime characters when a lot of them are drawn to look like adults and are voiced by adults, I don't think anyone really has a right to judge. I mean, I do it too.

In the case of lolicon and shotacon, I'm grossed out, and I judge guys and women equally who consume it.

I'm kind of weirded out by how many people are judging for the teen one. I think it's pretty normal to find these characters sexy when a lot of teen 2D characters (especially in anime) are drawn to look like adults (in fact, a lot of the time there's no real difference in appearance between the adults and teens) and then they're voiced by adults who are 25+ with sexy voices.

teens no, kids, oh yeah. and I know I shouldn't but I DO also feel a bit different when it's a dude, like it's even a little more gross, and it's honestly because a lot more predators are dudes.

Re: Do you judge adults who get off to 2D teens/kids?

(Anonymous) 2016-03-10 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
teens, no. (generally in fiction they seem to be written to act older than they are. have reasoning skills. aren't dependent. etc)

kids, yeah i judge.

my judgement has no difference between genders.

Honestly yes, as long as they actually look like they're that young. Art of characters that actually look like children, or where the age part is played up - NOPE. But aging them up, or depicting them more young adult-like (especially in the case of anime teenagers that might look pretty adult already)... that doesn't bother me.

Define 2D and define teen, because most of 2D anime teens tend to not look or act like teens at all.
