Ugh. This person sounds annoying. I certainly have preferences with some pairings. And I personally wouldn't read a fic with Dean in a dominant role (bottom or top doesn't matter) because it doesn't fit how I see the character. But I'm not about to tell other people not to write what they want. You don't like something, don't read it. It doesn't make it wrong.

Yeah, I can't see Dean really topping in the dominant sense, either. Giving it to PowerBottom!Sam? Sure. But Sam would definitely be running the fuck.

(Again, preferences. Someone wants to read about fragile little 6'4 Sammy Winchester being totally dommed by his older brother, rock on with your bad self, there's plenty of porn of that, too.)

I don't think most slashers are familiar with the concept of "power bottoms." There is this assumption (which is based on a a lot of really heteronormative crap) that the person with the power in the relationship is the one who is doing the penetrating. The notion of the more dominant partner asking/telling his partner to penetrate him is completely at odds with this narrative.
