I had a nightmare that my big toe was hollow and had a hole in the top and bottom (that I could see thru). I was freaking out because I could not figure out if EVERYONE in the world had hollow toes or if this was something I should be worried about.

Weird as hell dream.

I have had dreams like that! Not that exactly, but the "can't remember if this obviously unnatural and terrifying thing is actually totally normal or not" premise, for sure. It's so confusing when you first wake up.

Hmm...perhaps you are concerned with others being able to "see through" you, and that sort of fragility bothers you? When one makes a verbal gaffe, it is said one has ones foot in ones mouth, and maybe the worry of saying the wrong thing is concerning to you, hence the feeling of fear over your hollow toe being crushed.

(miniature dream anon from the thread above) a couple nights ago I was miniature while on the floor of a subway, but it became really weird after a while and the people's shoes I was watching started having eyes and mouths kind of like the cars from Pixar's Cars. IDK.

I was waiting in a car servicing waiting room and trying to get the mechanic to explain my bill. We kept going around and around and around and my kids kept playing up all the damn time encouraging me to complain (which is odd in itself, cause I don't have any kids) and the mechanic kept coming back to something called a stuck stick stack, or a stacked stick. I have no idea if this an actual car thing. And the car kept changing between the very first car I ever had, years back, and another car I had about five years back but that I had just bought new.

Explain that one.

my last dream was i woke up, brushed my teeth, washed my face, went to work, etc. then i woke up and realised i had to do everything again!! ugh!!

I can't remember a lot, but I recall feeling anxious and I hated being in this location because it's a location I've been to before in my dreams that doesn't exist IRL and this place usually indicated that it wasn't a good dream.

I used to be really good at remembering my dreams, but not so much anymore.

Uhhh I dreamed I was planning an SNL-style sketch show with some people and the stage kept moving? And then there was like. A glitch, but with life, and a bunch of people fell into this weird hole in the ground and I got my leg ripped off.

Last night, I had a dream where I was helping some random guy make his girlfriend jealous. I had to enter a Miss National Seaweed contest because the girlfriend had been Seaweed Queen for five years running. I had to make a sculpture out of seaweed and then a weapon so I could fight off these intergalactic ostriches that wanted to eat all the coffee bean trees. I woke up before the winner was announced.

Basically every dream I had is a collection of events that could easily be some bizarre action or sci-fi B-movie of the MST3K type.

I do dream rather vividly. I also have repeat dreams and sequels to former dreams. It's mostly awesome.

I was doing heroin with Andy Warhol. He told me that there was "a man upstairs", and that he was "all wet". I don't have a clue as to what it means, lol.

does it have to be the last one? the last one wasn't that exciting, just weird.
but a fairly recent one went like this:

i dreamed of someone's roleplay character and there were two blowup dolls, between which he had to decide to fuck. one represented my character and the other represented (in the dream it WAS them, but they didn't move or anything. you know how dreams go) the character they were in a relationship with.
in the end they decided to fuck the blowup doll of my character.

Trigger for suicide:

The last dream I remember with crystal clarity was my department sitting down for the retirement party we didn't actually have for my coworker who killed himself. Someone said we were going to miss him around here, and he replied "you never know, I may come back to haunt this place after I die."

It was said in jest and most people took it that way, but I shared a look with my supervisor that pretty much said we knew what was coming but were powerless to stop it.

Then somebody else asked him what he wanted to do if he could do anything, and he said he wanted to run in the rain. So we all got in our cars, drove somewhere where it was raining and ran around like kids.

I had this dream two nights ago and it's still with me. His funeral is today, but I can't go because I'm at work, filling his role.

Just woke up from a nap. Dreamed I was in Middle Earth and traveling with the Fellowship. And the Ring kept trying to tempt me to steal it from Frodo.

I has a horrible dream last night about one of my cats being sick and not being able to get him to the vet because of a bunch of obstacles. At one point in the dream, I actually did get to the vet's office, only to realize I had left my cat at home. So after even more obstacles, I finally got home, and of course I couldn't find a cat carrier. I'm looking around for something to improvise with, and my dad shows up with a belt and he says he's going to use it on my cat like a leash. I flip out and yell at him that he's going to strangle my cat like that, and I'm holding my cat in my arms to keep him away from my dad, and I look down and the skin on his face is all red and inflamed, and his eyes are swollen shut, and I feel so panicked and terrified for not being able to help him. It was such a bad dream, and it felt so realistic and like it had lasted at least an hour long.

Last night I dreamed I was a twelve year old girl whose parents made some kind of deal with the devil in order to have another kid. They had a baby boy. But then they invested all of their energy in him, and the daughter got really sad and started acting out in order to get attention, but the parents just got annoyed at her.
Also she was being stalked by this alligator-monster, which she realized was because of the deal her parents did. Eventually, after trying to escape it, she realized that it was her or the son - and since the parents seemed to want the son more, she decided they were better off without her.
She didn't want to die, though, so she went into a clock instead, where time stopped for her, and the monster could never catch her.

Goodness, I don't even know! The problem is when I do manage to remember a dream for long after I wake, I either forget them a bit later, or they were fandom dreams that I took the idea and ran with in my imagination and I now don't recall that the idea was based on a dream.

Maybe if I dig through my dA journal (now the place I semi-regularly make journal posts) I will find a post that is based on a dream.
