Maybe it is just among blogs I follow, but there is currently this Kylux AU featuring Kylo as a Senator that seems really popular. I don't really get it honestly. Why is this popular? I'm just in it for the villains. I don't know.

Maybe it's a political kink?

As far as I understand it is mirroring Attack of the Clones with Kylo as a Naboo senator. It seems to be less about politics and more about putting him in costumes similar to Amidala's.

Which one is that? I somehow got sucked into that one where Hux is put on trial for his crimes, but I haven't really dipped into a lot of the other fic.

It is the one where Ren is a senator from Naboo. I haven't read enough of it to know what role Hux plays. It seems to mostly be fanart and an excuse to draw Ren in clothes like Padme's. There are some fics, though.

Yeah, you basically already guessed it - I think people mostly do that for the costume porn and putting Kylo in Amidala-like dresses (whysoever it has to be dresses all the time).
At least Hux is still the villain in most of these stories but I also don't really get the appeal.

Still loving the new movie. Who's your favorite new character?

Rey probably, followed by Ren and Hux. Finn is pretty awesome too. I didn't see enough of Poe or Phasma to get a sense of whether I'm going to love them or not.

I feel silly but Hux is my favorite. I like Poe, Ren, and Rey, but Hux just intrigues me.

Rey. idgaf if she's a Mary Sue according to some, she's the character I'd have loved to have seen when being a 9-year-old watching the movie.

Rey and Finn were my faves, I thought they were both cute, loved their burgeoning friendship and am interested in seeing where their stories end up both individually and together.

I love Rey.

But I also love Poe too. I love how he was used for comedic purposes in the movie.

Watched it again for the third time.

I love all of the new characters tbh. Finn, Poe, Rey, Kylo, etc.

I really want to learn more about Kylo's backstory, and Rey's backstory. And also maybe Hux. So many unanswered questions!

I also greatly appreciated Kylo as a villian from a writing standpoint. He was so... not what people were expecting.

Maz Kanata

Hux is my absolute favourite but there is actually not really a character among the new cast that I don't like. (Except maybe Snoke but that's because he's kinda silly. I hope he turns out to be of the same alien race as Maz, that would make his huge holo even more hilarious.)

I can't choose just one. It's a massive tie between Rey/Kylo/Finn.

I'm kind of excited about Dr. Strange and I still love Bucky/Steve.

Yes! I wasn't all that excited about Dr. Strange until the trailer. It looked really awesome and now I'm really excited. And yes to Steve/Bucky. It has become one of those forever pairings for me (which are few and far between, usually I drift around and change what I like).

I'm interested to see how they pull him off, he's one of the weirder characters to adapt for sure but the movie looks like it could be cool, and very trippy.

I may be all over a new pair atm but Steve/Bucky is still one of my fave MCU pairs and I am both excited and terrified to see what Civil War brings for them.

I really can't wait to see how they continue with the use of magic in the MCU. We saw a touch in the Thor movies. We saw a bit more in Daredevil. WHAT WILL THEY SHOW US NEXT?

I just hope Cumberbatch can keep his accent up the whole time.

I think you will find a lot of Steve/Bucky fans here. And if you need some recs for specific stuff, I got lots!

Same! Dr. strange is more my bf's thing, but it looks like a lot of fun from the trailer.

And I'll forever love Bucky/Steve.

Doctor Strange looks like it's goling to be trippy and fun!

I still love Bucky/Steve, and I suspect I always will. I'm really looking forward to the new movie. I think whatever happens, it's going to give us a lot to work with.

I'm ambivalent towards Dr. Strange in the comics and I found the teaser trailer boring, unfortunately. :(

I still dislike Bucky/Steve. :(

Doctor Strange looks amazing. I can't wait to see it.
