I never cry about them, they always just kinda make me smile helplessly. Like that expression on Sam's face at the end of the film is perpetually on my face when they share a scene. I think I need to read fic where the author angsts Sam up a bit to get there. Recs? ;)

The discussion yesterday gave me all sorts of feelings for Celebrimbor. I just wish I had a happy ship for him. Because I want him to be happy. But the only person I ship him with is Sauron, and that just ends badly. Really badly for everyone.

I wonder if he could find someone in Valinor after being reborn. Someone who would love him and not take advantage of him and could help him heal. Although, if you believe that one canon version about elves mating with only one person and not being able to mate with anyone else, that means he's stuck with Sauron.

On the other hand, I like the idea of Sauron actually enjoying his time in Eregion, getting to be in the Forge and not on the battlefield, and maybe some part of him developed positive feelings for Celebrimbor even if later he crushes those feelings and refuses to acknowledge them. I don't know. I'm a complete sucker for villains with tiny good sides that come out occasionally.

But anyway, right now I just want happy Celebrimbor. And it is so hard to find fics. I'm having a bought of all these feelings for Celebrimbor and I can't find an outlet.

I'm knitting a hat for a coworker's impending baby. I've been doing nothing but socks and lace for so long that even using fingering weight and #3 needles feels like I'm taking a shortcut somehow.

Well, okay, here goes

I went to the point where I ship Stucky and BuckyNat with equal measure.

What I like about Stucky: I am a sucker for friends-turned-lovers, and I guess that it being a pretty much ancient friendship helps. I like that they, despite both being fucked up in different way, genuinely try to do they right thing and try to be decent human beings. I could just see it as being insanely loving and tender if it played out that way.

BuckyNat(mostly comics): I love that they are equally matched, and dorky together, and that basically in a lot of panels it's her keeping him safe, to the point of sometimes even being the keeper of his sanity.


Watching: Game of Thrones. I think I lost some of the "wow" elements of previous seasons, but I'm still curious as to where the characters will go.

I really like Patrick Fabian. He's a good actor and easy on the eyes. Right now I'm watching a movie of his called The Good Mother, about a woman who has Munchausen syndrome by proxy and tries to kill her kids. He's the dad who's clueless as to his wife's doings. It's a Lifetime movie tho so it's pretty cheesy, but that's why I like it (also Patrick Fabian).

My most recent ship is pretty wanky so I'll go with something a little older. I really love Elinor/Brandon. I don't mind Elinor/Edward but Brandon/Marianne didn't work for me, and I always felt Elinor and Brandon were better suited for each other.

I have so many ships but Magnus/Alec are still my main focus atm, but I'm in hiatus mode with them so I've got nothing new to gush about yet, I'm just hoping I'll get to see them battle together next season and take care of each other(because I am sucker for characters caring for one another).

I was surprised by how much I liked Durotan/Draka in the Warcraft movie, not enough to want fic but I enjoyed their interactions and was sad at both their fates(even though I knew it was coming).

And I really can't wait for Zootopia to come out on DvD because I really want to watch it again, it was so much fun and I loved Judy and Nick so much, and all the other characters too.

I'm putting One Hundred Years of Solitude and Chronicle of a Death Foretold into my to-read list. I also started reading the Twelve Kingdoms novel (barely started the first one) and it's surprisingly dark! I'm really enjoying it, though. It also made me want to save up a bit of money to buy a cheap tablet for reading purposes.

Also a doujinka I really really like uploaded some of her doujinshi up on pixiv feat. one of my OTPs and I'm having OTP feels uunngghhh.

Also for any RPer or anyone who uses DW logged in, Dreamwidth Tools is a really nifty add-on for your RP needs.

I found a really nice ?fugazza? Place today. The sandwich was delicious. The soup samples delicious (I don't even like broccoli?). The Beetroot salad was delicious (I don't like Beetroot?!).

I'll try their coffee tomorrow but I think I'm in love with this tiny little cafe.
