Immaturity is not a quality I admire in people. There's a difference between enjoying lighthearted things intended for children and not acting your age. It's not "cute," it's embarrassing.

"PC." Not because there aren't very legitimate and important critiques of the ways in which people (ostensibly) work towards social justice, but because the vast majority of people I know who say it in real life are openly racist, sexist, homophobic, whatever, and just say "PC" as a blanket complaint against anything they don't like. I realize not everyone who says it lacks all nuance, but it automatically makes it harder to take an argument seriously when someone couches even reasonable ideas in those terms. Linguistic biases are powerful, yo.

There is plenty, but one big one is to say overtly hostile things towards a certain "other" group. I'm specifically wording it like that, because it goes further than just racism or homophobia. Example: refugees deserve to drown.

Please don't talk to me. I get the issue is complex, but if you truly feel that way, I don't think we can connect on a human level.

Also variations on 'you should have kids'.

It also really bothers me when someone quotes someone else who has a regional or international accent, and they mimic that accent. Even if it's not done in an obviously negative, mocking way. (I'm not talking about celebrity impressions or things like that.) It's usually either done by people who grossly overestimate their ability to mimic regional accents authentically (so I have to fake a smile and look amused) and/or have a limited experience with people from outside their small town or circle of friends/family and see everyone else as somehow weird or ~Other~.

Because most of the people I've heard say this seem to work with the idea that 'being real' also means 'saying any damn fool thing that comes to mind regardless of how rude/stupid/jerkish.inappropriate it is!' For example I have a probably soon-to-be-ex-coworker who keeps being rude to our boss and excusing herself by saying "I'm just being real, this is just how I am."

Anything that implies a problem is entirely a self-esteem issue without considering there might be actual fixable problems involved. It's really dismissive and reeks of "I don't want to help you with your problems and I don't want to hear about them, either. I'm changing the subject."
