And I never really liked Sirius on principle.

The principle that he was created only as pure red herring and wangst fodder, and also the principle that Remus woulda been hotter with Snape.

Everyone's hotter with Snape.

It's like:

Person alone = mildly cool or what have you
Person w/Snape = mildly cool or what have you, only with a black snake wrapped around his or her naked shoulders and neck, adding a smouldering sexiness to the mildly cool or what have you

23. I still haven't seen One. But I don't know if anyone can replace Nine for me as my Doctor. Maaaaaybe Six, but even then. 32. AGREED! Whatever happened to the days when Disney shows were things like Gummi Bears or Darkwing Duck or Goof Troop or CareBears or even just good, classic Disney cartoons. Do they even play their classic cartoons anymore? When's the last time "Casey at the Bat" or "Pecos Bill" or a good old fashion Mickey Mouse short played on Disney channel? Now it's all this preteens gussied up at least five years older than they should be, acting...I don't even know what. And for some reason, even in their good shows, like Kim Possible, all the characters like hip-hop. What's the deal?



36. Also agreed. I like BBC Marian just because I like the idea of Marian being so manipulative, sneaky, underhanded, etc etc. I thought it was clever. But...Disney!Marian FTW.


46. Oh man, Elfquest. I do really love that series. I even have the filk tape, and I remember singing the Go-Back song last time I actually encountered snow. I don't know if it affected me that much, but it's still just such a fantastic series.

I think if more of their stuff had survived, I really would ship Jamie/Victoria because a) Hines said that he deliberately tried to play the role as if he were in love with Victoria and b)having opposing/conflicting ships never bothered me much, especially in Doctor Who. Plus, I think it's just sweet. But sadly, I don't know what scene that is because I never really have the time or patience to sit through the mash-ups with photos and all. *snif* I really wish that more of the Troughton era had survived. I think he also could give Nine a run for my Doctor.


66. I think it's a bit shallow to assume that people who ship one thing hate the other, but then, with Harry Potter fandom being what it is, it's almost understandable. I don't ship R/S, but I acknowledge it as being incredibly plausible. I just enjoy Remus/Tonks more. Theoritically. When JKR presented to emotionally screwed-over adults in a bizarre, unhealthy relationship in place of what had been a rather cute crackpairing, it was sad times.
But seriously, like I said, I just think JKR has something against healthy relationships.

14. I don't think people who ship it are stupid - I've just found the appeal dwindling fast. Now I can't remember why I liked it so much. I used to be a really huge supporter of this pairing but now? UGH. It just doesn't make any sense in retrospect.

46: I started reading ElfQuest when I was 11, and it's been the single most influention series in my life (and that's counting Final Fantasy and House). I still think about the characters nearly every day, and I still own every single comic - with the original hand-drawn colors. It's one of the most beautiful thing I know.

I totally agree that Dahlia and Iris win over Klavier and Kristoph. The characters just add more to teh story and own in general. Although I have to admit my love for Klavier though, his character ....dare I say it...rocked. A lot of people have been arguing over the pairings, I think the old characters need something really awesome to be beaten. Ive played AJ and I really prefer the old games, Im not sticking in teh past lol.

2.) I like the CAPSLOCKy and crack part of the fandom. The rest of it is poopy. Fandom has made me realize DN is not a serious series.

4.) SUPER SERIAL YOU GUYS. I lol at that episode--that's so the (man)bear(pig) from Prophecy. I never thought they'd use such an obscure monster.

49.) Japanese/Asian superstitions intrigue. Well, the culture itself intrigues me. /weeaboo

53.) Out of curiosity, sauce for this CLAMP quote? I'm always interested in hearing their opinions on pairings. I love KuroFai, and lol, it doesn't matter if it'll be obvious!canon or not. CLAMP had it basically where Fai's gotta tail with Kurogane wherever he goes if he wants to live. (Though I'm a little disappointed if they never turn outright canon, because I liked their entire "the series focuses on a young relationship for the younger people, but an older relationship for the adults." And Sayoran (god his name so help me God) and Sakura are obviously romantic!canon.

66.) As much as I loved Sirius/Remus, I have to disagree. The issue I have with this pairing is it felt very rushed.
