NARUSASU STRIKES BACK?

[identity profile] xtirpate.livejournal.com 2008-04-03 09:56 pm (UTC)(link)
ATTACK OF THE NARUSASU SECRETS. WHAT THE HELL.

34. A fucking men.

61. And again. Although there is a large amount of them that say this and than end up rabidly screaming about it two days later, or doing something else that completely controdicts themselves..

52

[identity profile] epouvante.livejournal.com 2008-04-03 09:56 pm (UTC)(link)
same here. but my friends told me what happened at the end, so i didn't go in with an element of mystery or surprise.

52.

(Anonymous) 2008-04-03 09:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Is that... Graveyard of the Fireflies? Dude, I felt nothing through the whole freaking movie.

[identity profile] ensuing.livejournal.com 2008-04-03 09:57 pm (UTC)(link)
23. MASTURBATION PAIRING WOOOOOO

39. Oh man, me too, me too.

59

[identity profile] tsuyogaru.livejournal.com 2008-04-03 09:57 pm (UTC)(link)
How is SSB fandom not 'big'? Do you mean as big as in the amount of people willing to write for it? Because if that fandom isn't big, I don't know what is anymore.

Re: 59

[identity profile] kyriesanctus.livejournal.com 2008-04-04 01:08 am (UTC)(link)
I think OP means that 'fandom' =/= amount of people who play.

The amount of people who play is HUUUGE, but the amount of people who would do fanart, fanfic, sit around and talk about it without bursting a couple veins about how "I'M SO MUCH BETTER AT CAPTAIN FALCON THAN UUUUUUU" is small.

47

[identity profile] ketchupblood.livejournal.com 2008-04-03 09:57 pm (UTC)(link)
47. It has its moments when I just worship whoever wrote it; then it has its "United States of Japan" moments when all I can do is hope I don't miss too much while I laugh my ass off. orz

70. That's... slightly worrisome. This I have to see. *goes off*

Re: 47

[identity profile] kerina.livejournal.com 2008-04-03 10:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Agreed; "United States of Japan", that had me laughing like an idiot too xDDDD

02. I used to be like that until I saw pictures of Mana. Those two look like John Wayne compared to him.

04. Maybe your fic sucked?

27. I hate you.

OP 4

(Anonymous) 2008-04-03 10:26 pm (UTC)(link)
I won't deny that it's a possibility, as I know it really wasn't my best work. But I also know the people who belong to the community in question. And they're the type who are only interested in their pairings. If anything deviates from the norm, they won't even click the LJ-cut. I was kind of hoping because this was a community-wide competition, that I would get some feedback from other community members instead of just having people on my friends-list comment. But no.

Anyway, just a bit more of an explanation, since I knew all that wouldn't fit in a readable secret.

27. Ewww.
32. I can relate to that. I also wish some of my fandoms were smaller because the ratio of bad fanfiction seems so much larger in bigger fandoms.
62. Fair enough. I like him as a character, but I hear you. At least you know what you're talking about.

Kiriwar and Gunzi are AWESOME, and my first favorite TnC pairing because, for all the yaoi out there, they were the first pairing I really found that weren't all about TWU WUB and WOOBIEZ. They have hot, hard-up-against-the-wall-with-blood-and-concussions sex, y/y? though I do kind of imagine Kiriwar having a fetish for psychological rape and a college education

Who aaaaaaaare you, anon? who aaaaaaare you?

60. YOU TOO. MPD SECRET YESPLZ. LUCY MONOSTONE SECRET YES YES YES PLZZZZZZZ
I love that poster though, fff.

68. I fucking love that man. I will watch and/or play ANYTHING he has done a voice for, regardless of how much it may or may not suck. (Luckily, everything has been completely awesome. Blood+, Makai Kingdom and Digital Devil Saga ftw. ♥)

(Anonymous) 2008-04-04 09:51 am (UTC)(link)
Ack, I haven't even heard of Makai Kingdom! I'm a bad fan!

DDS is awesome love, and also Xenosaga, Xenosaga. Crispin Freeman does a bitchin' psychotic evil laugh.

He does always pick roles in great games/anime, though. I've yet to be disappointed. <3

[identity profile] basiatione.livejournal.com 2008-04-03 10:02 pm (UTC)(link)

AND I AGREE WITH YOU, DARLING.

I was there from the very first day but then people start copying each other and all the DGM people are practically OC's now, and its like... a big competition to see who can make the most fucked up character ever.

Don't worry. I don't think your life is like Skins.

Just don't think my life is like Degrassi.

Do you really think we're THAT DUMB???

Re: 07

Degrassi's definitely set in Canada. But whatever, yank might be an all encompassing term.

44. That's so sweet.
51. Sweet Jesus, yes. What happened to the days of Sailor Moon, when the heroines looked like young women and not creepy-ass lolis?
52. ME NEITHER! I recognize that it's a very good movie and I really did enjoy it, but I didn't cry. And I feel like THE ONLY PERSON WHO DIDN'T!

31. Being a huge Street Fighter fan, if Capcom made anymore relatives of Dan Hibiki I'd probably pay attention to Phoenix Wright. Although having him IN the games would be even funnier.

What did Capcom do in '97? I had no clue they did something dickish at that time period.

41. Holy crap, fellow Frisky Dingo fan!

[personal profile] blizzardseason 2008-04-03 10:04 pm (UTC)(link)
10. No, I think you know the difference between reality and fantasy better than a lot of people who honestly think rape/abuse fic 'trivializes' someone's suffering.

I mean, most people would never actually want to meet those people, but the fact that they're so horrible and nasty is at least a third of the kick to it. Human nature to be attracted to greed, sin, and admire people who take what they want when they want it without remorse. Then their conscience kicks in and when they leave fantasy land they're good people still. IDK, that's just what I think :D

39. HAY, WUZZAT?! It's cute.

52. LOL, YES IT JUST MIGHT.

[identity profile] theangstmonkey.livejournal.com 2008-04-04 05:39 am (UTC)(link)
RE 10:

Speaking as someone who also RPs the characters the OP is talking about, I think you have it right (or at least a portion of it right). It's all about being able to separate fiction and reality but also knowing that fiction can help you deal with reality. Maybe roleplaying those situations will help them understand what happened to them at least at some psychological level or at least they shouldn't feel guilty for having fun. Roleplaying is all about having fun, something people tend to forget.

Anyway, I just meant to reply to you to say "I agree!" so... I agree! :D

8: I think they're soulmates. I just don't think the soulmate bond means that their relationship should be sexual.

51: I never "got" moe until I read Strawberry Marshmallow. When I read that series, I was just overwhelmed by the cuteness. The occasional somewhat-sexualised bits made me uncomfortable and I wished they'd been cut. So, yeah. I don't know. Maybe I'm totally untypical... There's a blurry boundary between "moe" and "loli", to be sure, but I think it's possible to like the cuteness of the characters for non-sexual reasons. Just like it's possible to enjoy being around children without being a paedophile.

52: ...well, either that or there's something wrong with your tearducts...

[identity profile] techno-beat.livejournal.com 2008-04-03 10:06 pm (UTC)(link)
