AYRT

That would totally work. Also, I'm imagining his disgruntled expression.

Just stopping in to say that I love this show and it always makes me smile when I see secrets for it pop up here <3

Which is also a completely bullshit term for people who want a special label.

...other than going to someone who would understand (probably not his parents, but maybe either Sadie, or the Gems, or Lars in his own body) and explained what happened and tried to figure out how to fix it ASAP?

And even if for some reason that wasn't an option and he HAD to keep it a secret, it's really not appropriate to like, make grand love confessions to someone under the guise of being someone else.

Of course he meant well, and I don't think he's a terrible person (quite the opposite!) but he did really fuck that one up, and I wish he'd been shown to learn from it a little more.

Huh, interesting! I have some past and ongoing experience with narcotics (all prescribed, like in your case, for extreme pain) but have never had particularly different dreams.

I'm super-perky when awake on them, though.

but that still isn't necessarily "protagonist-centered morality". that's a pretty specific trope

Hee. Good point.

Alas, fabulous wealth is hard to come by these days.

(Stylishness is a learned skill in great parts, so that one at least OP can do.)

Yuck! (Well assuming he's living with other people. I do this but I live alone. And I'm about to move in with some other people and will cease to do it - even when they're not home because I am not the only one with keys to the house)

Is "half mast" like, sticking straight out in front? lol

[personal profile] diet_poison 2016-09-02 04:03 pm (UTC)(link)
So, can a straight person who has been attracted to ONE person of the same sex go around in LGBT communities and claim to be bi? Don't you think that might rankle some people?

I mean, it kinda sounds like a lose-lose situation - either way someone is going to tell you you're WRONG about your label.

Maybe you should just let people label themselves and take them at their word.

there is nothing remotely reasonable about "YKINMK"

I'm also going with "troll" on that one. Seriously?

I'm so sorry. I know that feeling. It hurts so much it makes me feel sick. :(

You deserve so much better. Hang in there. It's hard to accept that he probably won't talk to you again, but it's probably best at this point to start investing your emotional energy elsewhere. You'll get through it.

Feel free to PM me if you ever want to talk more (if you have an account or are comfortable with making an account or a sock). ♥

That is scary.

Fortunately from my limited experience skin cancer IS very curable if it's caught early. It's easy to take the lesions out.

But if it were my mom I'd be scared too. My parents are in their 50s and I have such a hard time even beginning to think of their morality.

(I also have a good friend, who is also friends with my mom and is about her age, who recently got a melanoma out of her back, and her prognosis is good. Hopefully everything will be fine!)

I hope you honked at the person you almost hit. I haaaate that, pedestrians running out in front of cars such that the cars have to brake. It's fucking DANGEROUS!

I also hate driving around bad drivers so I definitely feel for you. ;_;

It's 100000% ok to wear makeup to cover up acne and then decide to stop wearing it when your acne goes away

there is no great moral failing here

give her a break

Nice, good for her :)

I love that her hubby is standing up for it too.

Honestly, wear makeup or don't, I don't care, but it's fucking stupid that women are expected to wear it if they have any kind of public persona and men are not.

I never wear it (can't be bothered and I like the way I look without it) so if I ever somehow got famous and people started expecting me to wear makeup (except like, stage makeup, within reason) there'd be a problem. But fortunately I am not creative enough to become famous in entertainment and it's unlikely I'd ever get famous for anything else lol.

lol that is hilarious.

I keep mine short because they're really annoying when they're long. can some people just not fathom that every woman ever (except lesbians, apparently) isn't necessarily into looking super stereotypically feminine all the time in every way?

You probably were nauseous due to lack of food. It's much later now and I hope you're feeling better. Stock up on things like popsicles, ice cream, and other easy-to-eat, soothing things. Maybe some saltine crackers? Dunno what you have an easier time eating.

And don't feel bad about talking about it here. ♥

You can do it. Things will get better. Don't be afraid to seek help. Call a hotline if you want to. Try to get professional help if you can. Many places have low-cost options. A hotline can probably help you find something, too.

Man, Supernatural is the DEFINITION of protagonist-centered morality, to the point where if a character starts breaking the rules for himself and never has to actually apologize/change for it, I call it "Dean Winchester Syndrome" (see also: Rick Grimes)

(Anonymous) 2016-09-02 05:32 pm (UTC)(link)
You're making me wonder if you're just one of those weirdly hypersexual people.

Re: Canon but not Fandom?

(Anonymous) 2016-09-02 05:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Buffy. Forever, Buffy, it is literally my favourite piece of media and playground to create headcanons in but holy shit do i not ever want to see or read anything else anyone has written about it. The canon is that flawfree.

(yes, the fact that most people would probably shit just reading that statement is a big part of the reason I'm not interested in touching Buffy fanon.)
