Budd from World of Warcraft. Why can't I kill him? He annoys the crap out of me.
And from the same universe - please, just let me stick a sword into Mylune. I honestly can not stand her in any way, shape or form. Her first voice wasn't bad, but now she sounds like a sugar-crazed chipmunk.

Freaking Chatot from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky. I mean, I understand why he's that way but HOLY HELL the dickitry is strong in that bird. The only Chatot I ever hated.

Creepy corpse eating cult in Skyrim. I never shopped at that place again in any of my subsequent builds and only went in there if I had to for a quest OTHER than that one daedric quest.

You actually can kill them all. I don't know if they're Essential before the quest, but you can kill them, instead of the priest during the quest...don't get the Ring of Namira, of course, but you can clear out Markarth's cannibal population.

LOL, that whole thing is so weird, even for creepy daedric cult stuff. Uh, thanks for randomly accusing me of salivating over corpses and having snacked on a dead sibling as a kid, but I don't particularly want to hang out in a crappy cave with you guys and get a ring that causes people to remark on my bad breath. If you're gonna start a cult, try to aim a little higher. Wiping them out and letting the priest go is very satisfying.

And among NPCs you CAN kill...Frigging Nazeem in Skyrim. Any character where I'm OK with indiscriminate murder, he mysteriously ends up with an arrow in his back as soon as I get my Sneak up high enough to get away with it.

Hemit Nesignwary in WoW, he makes me kill all the pretty wildlife. D:

Also as a druid I feel like I should hate him unreservedly and I wish we could get a special druid-only lot of quests where we impeded his hunt or kill him. I WANT TO KILL HIM SO BAD. (I mean I still do the quests because I want the XP and I am a lore-monkey but, DEATH TO HIM).

oh, I forgot about Hemet - I think one of the worst is the quest where you have to take one of his hunters with you to train her. It wouldn't be bad but why did it have to be a gnome? ::whines:: "Should we take a S.E.L.F.I.E.?" No, no we should not. Go jump in a fire, the two of you.

Aww, I kind of like him in a way. ESPECIALLY in Legion cause he gives you THAT ADORABLE GNOME TO TRAIN AS A HUNTER, OMG~!! I finally have her as a champion and SHE HAS THE BODYGUARD ABILITY SO I CAN HAVE HER WITH ME ALL THE TIME!! I AM FLAILING SO HARD FOR THIS!!!

Pavel from the Professor Layton series. I get that his whole thing is that he gets lost around the world and picks up every language as a result. That doesn't mean he has to fucking piece them all together when he's clearly speaking to an English speaker. Every. time.

Sylvanas and Thrall. Navi. Skadge the Bounty Hunter Companion (though i hear there may be the option to do so in the future if not right now).

Phil, to an extent in KHII. His shouting of "GET UP ON THE HYDRA'S BACK!!" STILL gives me a headache and I haven't played that game in YEARS.

Ummmmm.... probably Hunter and Moneybags from the first generation Spyro the Dragon games

Not so much anymore, since those games are easy as pie for me. But back when I was a kid and it was more challenging? Yeahhh, just give me the damn orb/egg, Hunter & p much go fuck yourself, Moneybags lol
