4. Baby, I've got CS2 and my icons STILL suck when I try to do more than fuck around with the saturation/contrast. I've followed tutorial after tutorial and I just can't fucking do it like the big guns. idk what I'm doing wrong, and honestly? I don't give a damn. 22. I'll admit that I haven't been in the Naruto fandom in ages (since around episode 180 or so) but honestly? Redeeming Itachi seems cheap to me. It just seems like a way to get out of having Sasuke power up enough to beat an opponent that they accidentally made too powerful.

50. I'm inclined to agree. I predict that I'm going to have plenty of bad sex by the time it's all said and done and therefore really don't need fictional sex to be bad as well. Fictional sex can continue to be unrealistic and damn ridiculous at times, but so long as it's hot? Who really gives a damn?

I can understand not liking characters and even shows sometimes, but when people say Joss Whedon's dialogue is terrible, I can't help but wonder what kind of horrible glasses they're seeing the world through. Okay, maybe real people don't always have witty banter, and it wasn't Moffat-subtle, but good grief, Joss Whedon's dialogue is delicious. Sometimes, for no apparent reason, I'll have whole scenes of exchanges from Firefly running through my head. Heck, his dialouge and Mal's acting made me stop being ashamed of my Southerner accent

18. I want to like Discworld, I really do. I love The Art of Discworld, and I loved the animated Soul Music movie. But something about the prose actually gives me a headache when I sit down and read it for awhile. I feel like a bad geek, because I think Terry Prachett's absolutely brilliant and has fantastic, hilarious, clever, and touching ideas and characters. I just can't read it. Tempered by the brilliant voice of Neil Gaiman, it's perfect. I don't know why I have such a problem with his writing style.
While I think his stories are much better than Rowling's, Rowling's are easier for me to read. And I don't mean "reading level" so much. I like the big, thick, obtuse books. I don't know.

I usually balk at English dubs, but I'm in love with the English voice of D in Pet Shop of Horrors, myself, and I find myself telling people, "Seriously, the English dub of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is really well done." They look at me like something they found on the bottom of their shoe.
