Oh, yes, I know. Just because I support Obama, I and all of my fellow supporters surely have no clue what we're talking about! We're just a bunch of morons who don't know who or what we're voting for, right?

I hate people who think like this. I'm sorry if I come off as rude and abrasive here, but I'm a freaking Political Science major, and the implication that I don't know what I'm talking about because of the presidential candidate that I choose to support just pisses me off. Especially when I go out of my way to be supportive of people who disagree with me and support other candidates. A little of that going the other way would be nice.

So yeah, up yours. :D

To be fair, I don't think the op is talking about supporters like you. You're obviously educated, politically savvy, and up-to-date...but honestly, as a 17-year-old with a lot of friends just turning voting age, I know a lot more who're jumping on his bandwagon because it's cool.

Seeing as how he's been absent for nearly all of the major votes, has no track record to speak of, and manages to change his retoric for nearly every speach he gives...you can find info to say anything about Obama.

The problem isn't that there isn't enough information, it's that there's too much unreliable information.

And all me cynical, but I don't trust his books nearly as far as I can throw them. Pretty words are all well and nice, but you've gotta give me something to back them up before I'll belive them.

Particularly from a politition.
