I've noticed that everyone's talking in terms of two possibilities:

1): There was no voter fraud. Donald Trump is President, but we can at least trust that our vote counts are honest.

2): There was massive voter fraud in all three states that pushed them towards Trump. Hillary Clinton is President, but trust in the voting system takes a downturn.

I'd like to propose a third possibility:

3): Someone managed to pull off small-scale voter fraud, but not enough to shift the election, because voter fraud is hard, yo. Donald Trump is still President, faith in democracy goes down anyway, and the country is even more divided.

What's y'all's favorite version of the Arthurian legends? Favorite character? Favorite story?

Mine's either the Squire's Tale series by Gerald Morris or the Down The Long Wind trilogy by Gillian Bradshaw. You may be able to guess from this that Gawain is my favorite character (seriously he is the best, Lancelot can go kick rocks)

Christmas trees

I've heard that some people are putting their Christmas tree up this weekend, do you do this? When do you put yours up? Do you put anything special on it, or just the regular decorations.

Mine only goes up in the weekend before Christmas, but to break with tradition I have a Starscream G1 figure in a Barbie tutu that I place on top of it.

Does anyone ever feel guilty buying stuff for themselves? I decided to by an Xbox so I can play games with my sister. All together it cost $300 and I can afford it. But I feel super guilty about it. I felt so guilty that I got two Angel Tree kids to donate presents to assuage my guilt.

How guilty do you feel buying things for yourself? How do you feel about buying gifts for others?

I bit my cuticle too much and now my thumb hurts like hell. This has happened before, but it's never hurt this much. Bluuuuuh. I'm going to start wearing my retainers during the day so I can't bite my nails or the skin around them anymore.

Is it just me or is the Christmas telly this year really, really shite?

There is nothing I'm looking forward to, and I'm actively loathing the look of this year's Doctor Who. Completely turned off by thought of another Sherlock special after last year's too. Not up for 4th wall breaking shenanigans and more hoping they'll exhume John Thaw's corpse so we can get another Inspector Morse real detective story.

PLaying overwatch and I drop into this match with an obviously adult male and an obviously child boy talking on mike, and the man was constantly praising the kids gameplay, and talking to him none stop. "So where do you live? How old are you. Do you like the music of East 17? How about the Backstreet boys? What music do you like" And so on and so on.

Super fucking creepy and all I could think was "Run child, run. Don't tell him anything." I hope the kid stays safe.

Dead/Non-existent Fandoms

Have you ever wanted fanfic for canons where the fandom is either dead or apparently never existed? Which canons and what fanfic did you want?

Question brought to you because I'm rewatching Flash Gordon (1980) and I want a whole bunch of Flash/Barin fanfic. Though the canon Barin/Aura was also pretty good. Aura/Dale would be awesome as well. Flash/Dale/Barin/Aura weird kinky polyamory variations would be good in general. Also foe yay Barin/Vultan. And really nasty kinky dubcon/noncon Princess Aura/General Kala. Seriously, I haven't watched this movie in years and all of a sudden when I rewatch all I'm getting out of it is 'sparkly scantily-clad science fantasy dystopia where everyone should fuck'. WTH brain?

Seriously, though, I really do want Flash/Barin and Flash/Dale/Aura/Barin fic.
