What was the last straw...

That made you stop watching a TV show or reading a particular comic or book series?

Danny-he's a failed squaddie stop shilling him-Pink. I defended Moffat through thick and thin and what do I get, a a squaddie with pretensions and a transgerdered time lord. Fuck you, Moff, go fuck off. And that tiger moment wasn't Danny's big clever moment either by the way.

Negan on TWD. I can't stand him. The way they structure their episodes has also made me hate it.

I stopped watching SPN around season 7 because I got so sick of Dean and Sam getting into arguments, breaking up, and then reuniting to save the day over and over.

Community just... sucking so badly.

I not only stopped watching it, but I don't even consider anything passed season 3 to be canon anymore. Or was it season 2? Idk.

Season 3 of Torchwood when they killed you-know-who. The only real good thing Torchwood had going for it was the "team", and the character dynamics that bounced around because of it. Once there wasn't really a team left, there just didn't feel like there was any point in continuing since the writing and plots were always pretty awful.

I don't know, somewhere in the midst of the Neverland episodes (I think it was right before the ~reveal~ about who Peter Pan actually was) in OUAT I just got tired of watching them do basically fuck-all every week so I dropped the show and never looked back. From what I can tell from secrets that pop up here I'm not actually missing anything.

In Bones it was when they killed Sweets (though I was getting tired of it before that anyway).

In Castle I don't even remember exactly what it was...I think I just got bored.

Xanth, when the male protagonist convinced some female characters to fight a bad guy. He started thinking to himself that they always had the numbers to beat the bad guy, but wouldn't have done it without him because women are afraid to fight.

The episode of Kakumeki Vavlerave where the AI girl took control of Haruto's body, and raped Saki. That scene was enough to get me to stop watching that episode, the Haruto/Saki shippers reaction to it ensured I never watched the rest of the show, and stayed the fuck away from the fandom.

I dropped Attack on Titan after all the Marley/Eldian drama was revealed. I had already began to dislike the series, but didn't really want to quit because of how much time I have put into it. But that was the final straw. I cannot even believe that people are still praising the series.

I quit Glee after season 1 because I could already tell the trash it was going to be and all my friends would get frustrated with me because they still liked it until they inevitably realized I was right all along.

Brennan got married. In a white dress. Which she emphatically was agaisnt.

Amy got too creepy and Penny was never ever gonna truly leave Leonard.

Supernatural lost me in season 7 or 8, can't remember which one but the season with the Leviathans left me so bored I could be bothered to pick it back up.

Teen Wolf lost me in season 4, too many lost characters from the original cast and too many new faces I just didn't care for and my interest disappeared.

Otherwise it's me just simply loosing interest which happens all the time when something goes on for too long without feeling like it's actually going anywhere.

there was this show I used to really like about a bunch of lawyers but I ragequit after this one young woman lawyer got pregnant. it wasn't her getting pregnant that made me ragequit, it was the fact that she didn't want the kid, didn't want to marry the guy who got her pregnant, wasn't in love with him and especially didn't want to quit her job which she loved, but she did all those things because it would make him happy. And the show treated this as the right thing to do.

Castle: Technically the last straw was season 8 wben I heard Castle/Beckett was fake broken up. I had stopped watching after the first half of that season's premiere when Beckett was being super sketchy but I was just about to give it another try when I heard about the "breakup."

And everything I'd heard since was just awful.

Glee - I think I stopped around season 2 when I realized it just wasn't going to get any better. It was hard because it was like watching a train wreck and you just couldn't look away, so I pretty much forced myself to stop, change the channel when it was on and so on. From what I've heard it just kept going further down.

SnK - I just wasn't enjoying it anymore. I pop in to check on spoilers to see if Jean and Armin are still alive, though. I've heard things, though. THINGS.

I quit watching NCIS after Kate died, and only made it through half of the first season of Bones because I loathed that smug, smarmy asshole Booth more and more with each episode. He wasn't the final straw, though; the final straw was this episode where they were looking through some teenager's room and they open up his computer, look at the desktop for two seconds and say "It's all just games, no journals or anything!" Or was it the one where Brennan said in an interview that she doesn't want kids and everyone gave her shit about it because OMG that makes her sound so unlikable (and of course she changed her mind later. Of course.)? Or the one where they were rappelling down into this giant, cavernous sewer system without any safety gear? Between so many stupid moments, it's hard to remember which one was the final straw.

That episode in Season 3 of MLPFIM where Rainbow Dash was a creepy fangirl. Blech. It had gotten so bad, I just stopped.

HIMYM. Somewhere into Season 6 I grew really tired of it & quit watching.

I gave up on the Archie Mega Man comics because of the Sonic crossover. The Sonic crossover literally did NOT need to happen. It dragged on and on, and why should someone have to fucking follow four comics to keep up on the crossover storyline, especially if they're not invested in three of the four (I loathe the Sonic comics. I'm going to come right out and say that.)

Gave up on Charmed on season 6, because the Gideon storyline was just full of shit.

Gave up on 7th Heaven like...early on when I realized they kept on shitting on Mary over and over.

Um it was called the Dome or something?

They killed the main character lady cop. I think I was already getting prissy because they kept killing off ladies and bringing in similar character-types so when she died I stopped watching.

Grey's Anatomy

Jesus Christ, Meredith, you're a widow, you have three kids, how difficult is it to just tell your sister Maggie that you slept with that guy and that you like him, instead of dumping him because Maggie thinks that she and that guy could get together? And, oh my god, the rest of the cast being completely shocked and angry when Meredith doesn't tell them the second she found out what Alex did and instead waiting a few hours. Yeah, it's not a great thing, but it is a totally understandable thing for her to do for a good friend and pretty much exactly what I would expect of her (and I really wouldn't be surprised by anyone delaying telling about a bad thing a good friend did).

I noped out of TWD when Eugene admitted there was no cure in DC. I was really excited that the show was picking up an overarching plot, and then when it wasn't, I couldn't go back to more moping and wandering between psychopath towns.
