52. And the funny thing is, David Shore has said, in several interviews, that they put subtext into the show intentionally. Sure, they might never do the horizontal tango on the show, but there's definitely a lot of fodder for fandom to draw their own conclusions from.

Yeah...no.

Avatar has VERY predictable writing. For example, I saw Zuko joining the gang some point shortly after "The Storm" first aired. (First season.)

After TBR it looks like there will be a dramatic reunion between Mai and Zuko. 316 will be dedicated to building a friendship between Zuko and Katara that will be needed for them to work as allies int he final battle. Nothing romantic.

How is 23 a personal attack but not 16? A couple weeks ago a secret was posted that really was someone posting about themselves (the LJ screenshot they used made it clear they were still logged in). That would've worked better; 16 here is pretty much accusing a specific person of making secrets about themselves. Which, it turns out, they weren't.

Well, there's nothing that's suggested they'll necessarily be more than friends. They -hug- in the trailer, which could indicate mere friendship. To me, it just looks like they're desperate and worn-down emotionally from all that they've been through. It's also a sort of apology, I think - now that Katara finally trusts him.
I know what you mean, though. I would find it extremely weird if they got together, but I would completely LOVE for them to have a close, deep friendship. :)

I don't know. Kira didn't really come out smiling in the end. But I agree - Katou deserved so much better.

EDIT: Unless, of course, you meant he deserved to fall in love with someone better than Kira. In which case I agree entirely. As much as I love the pairing to bits, Katou deserves someone who'll love him back.
