22 - You know, even though Zuko and Mai appear to be over for the time being, that does not mean Katara and Zuko are going to hook up in a span of 6 episodes. Didn't anyone learn anything about how misleading the trailers are back when they showed the S2 finale?

Breathe and relax--Zuko is more than likely going to end up single and content like Iroh by series end. Katara and Aang are far more likely, considering their relationship has been there since day one.

40 - I think when that episode premiered, there was a long, unanimous cry of outrage. I'm sure the loudest screams were from the Tai/Sora fanbase, considering how they were built up and then completely let down.

Man, I remember only one couple I sorta liked becoming canon in that series--never watched Digimon again. XD

And it's not even the "screw HaruKan" part. :D It's that you ship them. Regardless of het or yaoi - it's just about the fact that are two people who aren't romantically in love who care so much about each other that makes it beautiful. Regardless of who Kan-chan and Youko get shipped with, I like their relationship because they rely on each other so much - care for each other like family - and they don't have to have to be romantically involved. People always bitch about yaoi fangirls ruining friendships with shipping, but no one ever bitches when a boy and girl's relationship is ruined by shipping.

But feel free to ruin what they have anyway. :3

40. YES, YES BIG FUCKING YES. I was LIVID about the Yamato/Sora ending and how they basically ended up JUST like the Ishida/Takahashi family and it killed me. Complete fucking COP OUT. And I'm 24, so don't feel bad about it, lol. (I had other problems with the end of 02 but we won't get into them ha)

55) They aren't overrated. Their influence is huge and without them, we probably wouldn't have any of the music we have today. However, I do think that a lot of people who say the Beatles are their favorite band haven't listened to much other music. The Beatles seem like a band that's so huge and so immediately recognizable that people seem to just fall back on them when they don't have an actual favorite band or even a favorite genre. Of course, this by no means applies to everyone; I just got done taking a class filled with people like that, so I'm a little jaded. Grain of salt and all. (And for the record, I do like the Beatles, even if I still don't understand the whole "Paul is dead" thing considering he was right there the whole time.)

I agree with you. They're influence is like, impossible to calculate. And they're not my favourite band, nor do I like all of their stuff, but their music is just so damned good, even after multiple listenings. John and Paul were good on their own, but together they just *worked* and evened each other out.

I just took a course on them too, and it made me really listen to their music, not just on the surface level, but harmonically and motivicly (which is so not a word, but whatever). It made me stop thinking about them as just like 'the Beatles' and actually as a band, and now I like their music so much more.

By the way, I love your icon. Music symbology jokes, FTW!

23. im just gonna add to the dog pile here. Both of those iconists do fantastic work, as do many others. I collect alot of icons, and I probably use more icons by those two than I do anyone else individually. I love to show love to people who make great icons, and I think those two do. I also think that personal opinions are just that. You are free to yours as I am to mine, but being hateful is another thing altogether. And no, people should not have to get out of fandom just for you.
