Mike and Bryan showed a trailer for the rest of Book III at New York Comic Con. In it, we saw Aang kissing Katara and Katara backing away VERY quickly and then Katara and Zuko hugging. 01. Mm...how soon after posting was that? I can see forgetting to previewing it, but then looking at the entry and fixing it afterwards (I have a bad habit of doing that, but luckily I'm always in the habit of looking at my journal right after posting...)

On the other hand, Princess Tutu is my favorite anime...a shame the manga--which came out after the anime--is fanservicy crap.)

Sometimes I feel like the only one who honestly doesn't see this "subtext" between the two. Making Wilson a woman doesn't change their relationship at all to me (though it would change House's character), and while I don't have anything against anyone who does see it, I get tired of being scoffed at or made to feel boring by people who are genuinely convinced they're going to wind up together on the show. So it's sort of a double-edged sword.

(My own secret: It's condescending of me, I know, but sometimes with those people (the rabid ones), I feel like I'm watching the slightly slow/socially awkward girl in class make an ass out of herself all the time without being aware of how uncomfortable everyone else is when she opens her mouth.)

I feel like my saying "OMG YOU ARE ME" wouldn't even convey how much I have literally said, almost word for word, everything in your secret about a million times. So I'm just going to shamelessly self-plug here and paste a rant I made in my personal LJ about a month ago (It was in a list of things that piss me off.):
9. Fans of House who act like House/Wilson shippers are completely delusional and out of their minds. Now, I have never claimed that I expect to see the two men making out onscreen or signing their civil union liscence. But the homosexual subtext is so obvious, it can hardly even be called subtext anymore. I have friends who still scoffed at the suggestion of House/Wilson even after "Don't Ever Change." Um... *points at icon." Were we even watching the same episode? Like I said, I'm not saying the relationship will ever be "real," as in, an actual, physical homosexual relationship onscreen. But how can people still refuse to accept that, whether serious about it or just having fun with the fans, the writers intentionally write and (and Hugh and Robert act) homosexual undercurrents for the characters?

Ugh, people who wish that make me shake my head sadly. Okay, there are definitely better games out there and it isn't the BEST game in the world (despite what fandom might say), but Final Fantasy VII was one GIANT LEAP for video game technology (as well as a ton of OTHER GAMES, I'm not excluding those, so don't even try to use that against me).

I don't care what your reasoning is--whether you hate the vii fandom or your best friend left you for the game or whatever, get over it. Hating a stupid video game isn't going to help. Wishing it never happened isn't going to help either.
