There are worse names to choose! At least it isn't Castiel Dean or something like that.

I do genuinely wonder if there is some poor kid named Castiel out there, Dean at least is normal so no one would blink twice at it.

Dmitri is okay. Jensen as a first name isn't so great, and is obviously tied to that actor.

I 100% disagree that it's obviously tied to the actor.

I don't particular care for it as a first name, but it's completely within the normal range of names Americans give kids

You just need to spell it funny, like "Jensynn" or whatever.

Nah. Outside of Supernatural, most people have no idea who Jensen Ackles is.

I wouldn't assume it's tied to the actor, but it does sound like one of those annoying first names that really is supposed to be a last name. Jackson, Jensen, etc. Those names are really grating to me.

My first thought would be Adam Jensen, not Jensen Ackles.

IT's cool OP. If I have children, and two are boys, I am naming them after two of my favorite fictional characters/the characters that helped me grow up as an adolescent. But it will be their middle name. I figure. Lol.

Not going to lie, I'd probably think the Anastasia character for Dimitri before I thought anything Supernatural related.
