It's not as creepy as Reylo but it basically comes from the same place (woman author wants to bang character/actor but doesn't want to write OC cause they know nobody will read it) and I personally cannot take seriously people hardcore shipping characters that have never met. Um, no, definitely not for me. Pretty much any OT3 I have, I'll eventually start wondering how the least obvious leg would interact romantically when it's just the two of them together. Sometimes I find the resultant pairing a huge turn-off (Eliot Spencer/Parker, Pepper/Rhodey, Athelstan/Lagertha), and other times I end up shipping it hardcore (Poe/Rey, Lestrade/John Watson, Elizabeth Burke/Neal Caffrey).

I still have a few resevrvations about this because I can definitely see people going "Look they totally won't expect this" and write it into the movies anyway. Mostly because I've seen it happen before. But I'm still carefully optimistic that they won't do it.

There's literally only two options. Either Reylo is going to be canon, or Rey and Kylo are going to be siblings. And them being siblings is way more obvious of a twist in Star Wars, which means that they might try and switch it up to make it a real tweeeeeeeeeeeeest.

Stormpilot is my OTP here but I love these three as a trio. I don't ship Poe with the others romantically (yet?? there are still two more movies!) but I want more of them all together in general.

And I also dislike Reylo. But I'm really pretty sure Reylo won't be canon. So there's that.

who's judging and who cares? Reylo, Reylux, Reyux (I have a thing for heroes + villains) , Finn/Poe , Rey alone, they are all my jam in fandom. if we're talking canon, then the obvious Rey + Finn (although she repeatedly turns him down) might be the obvious route. I mi mnemonic d of just want them all to remain friends, no romance.

I have no problems with shipping heroes with villains...but I have an awful lot of problems with erasing characters of color and villainy apologism, which seem to be more prevalent in the Reylo fandom than the shipping itself.
