I agree with you, this was THE Final Fantasy, man! The magic, the well-developed plot and the vast world to explore; FF9 is the epitome of 'fantasy' as compared to the other FF titles. ...The other titles don't give off that 'magical' vibe (especially FF8 LOL)

The characters were cute, fun and endearing and I think the characters after FF9 can't compare. And the music was my favourite out of all the games. :D

Wish they would produce FF9 for the PS2 platform so that I can play it over and over again. ;_;

I have to agree. Final Fantasy 10 and 10-2 were fun, but they felt... different from previous Final Fantasy games. And lets not take about 12. I don't think Squeenix will ever go back to making an "old school" Final Fantasy (with plot, and characters that actually have a personality). It's all about graphics now.
Thinking about it always makes me sad :(

171. Hmm, I can't really get the idea of people who hate each other suddenly LOVING EACH OTHER, but... I guess a good way to explain it is that it's a very unhealthy thing, but psychologically it can work. For good reason is the phrase "the opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference." ;) Hate can actually be extremely obsessive, and hate!sex can be more a way of trying to "dominate" someone than anything else- could be rape, or could be mutual where the two characters turn each other on, but hate each other's guts, and want to humiliate/get the upper hand over the other. Doesn't mean they'll be cuddling afterward, but the hate could definitely lead to physical things.

Rival!sex is, of course, a whole different story. ;D

not!secret #3: I'm not caught up with that series- by like a lot- so someone illuminate me please: is her body working because it's possessed or something? ARE HER SYSTEMS WORKING? I mean, I can't ask "is her body alive" really, but is her body at least... I dunno, vampire levels of alive, as opposed to zombie levels of alive?

If so, her body ain't dead, the personality inside ain't dead, so I don't see how she'd be any more of a corpse than any vampire character in that case.
