I would also like this. I mean, not him in particular; anyone will do.

Everything's going to be alright, OP.

Weird, I just watched this for the first time today. I'm amazed AO3 didn't jump on this immediately? Still, the best remedy for lack of fic is to make some yourself I guess. Hop to it, nonnie!

Geez, I honestly forgot Glee existed there for a while. The last thing I heard about any of them was that Mark Salling got busted for child porn? Oh and those books Colfer writes, my niece fucking LOVES those. Has there been anything else juicy?

Seconding all of this. It really will be alright.

Is this right?

(Anonymous) 2017-09-25 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Hetalia -> Homestuck -> Steven Universe -> Undertale -> Voltron

Media you never tire of

[personal profile] philstar22 2017-09-25 11:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Is there any media that you never tire of watching, that you would be ready to watch any time and anywhere?

For me that would be LOTR, Star Wars, Buffy, and ATLA.

Fandom discussion

[personal profile] philstar22 2017-09-25 11:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Put your fandom in the thread title. Mostly because I want to talk about Star Trek Discovery when this collapses
philstar22: (shocked as you are Crowley)

Supernatural

[personal profile] philstar22 2017-09-25 11:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Whenever I start a rewatch of this show, I remember that as much as I love some of the later mythology, season 1 is still my favorite. There isn't a single season 1 episode I don't love, which isn't true for any other season. Yes, even Bugs and Route 666. Season 2 is a pretty close second place. As much as I love Cas and the angels, the show was at its best as a horror show to me.

Sounds about right to me, yeah. Though, I feel like there was something in between Homestuck and Steven Universe, but I can't put my finger on what.

Movie Club!

[personal profile] kaijinscendre 2017-09-25 11:06 pm (UTC)(link)
It is time for Movie Club nominations!

Theme: For the first half of October, we will be doing horror movies made in or before 1990. Any kind of horror (comedy, supernatural, slasher, psychological) welcome.

Rules (subject to change):
-One nomination per person.
-Must be streaming on Netflix, Amazon, or Hulu. Check JustWatch to see if your nomination is streaming.
-First 15 nominations will be chosen for voting.

Nominations will be open Monday-Wednesday. Voting will be on Thursday-Friday. The winner will be announced officially on Monday*. We will discuss the movie October 14th-15th.

*I originally was going to post the winner on Saturday but we will be discussing our previous movie at the same time, I don't want to draw attention away from that. I will close the poll on Friday (or early Saturday) though so you can check the results if you want to see the winner before Monday. I am not letting the poll stay open for five days because that will only result in people voting multiple times.

I don't think I could ever get tired of MST3K or the Beatles

Why 1990? Rule 2?

[personal profile] kaijinscendre 2017-09-25 11:10 pm (UTC)(link)
I chose 1990 because after browsing through the movies available, newer movies are more available online for streaming.

I still have those 3 streaming services being a requirement. Does anyone have any to add (I thought about adding HBO GO)? Or any alternatives to requiring a movie be on a streaming service? I have that requirement because I figure most people have those and it will assure that a movie is legit.

Going with Halloween (1978), available to watch on Amazon. I only recently saw this for the first time, and it is awesome.

I don't get it, is this a chart from bad to worse?

OFF fandom was sort of an offshoot of Undertale's, so that would have come later. Hmmmm... maybe I'm imagining it, haha. I can't think of it at all.
