SEELE are the group responsible for Second Impact and are trying to initiate Third Impact, thus completing the evolution of Humans and combining them into a single, god-like entity so that any individual's weaknesses and faults are complimented by another's strengths, by breaking down the walls that separate everybody's souls [that being what Third Impact is]. >> Everyone turns into goo because that's how that's accomplished.
It actually doesn't make any sense even if you DO know what's going on, but. xD

I don't think that motive was posted for a laugh; I know we discussed it seriously when we read the book in English this year and a few of my friends subscribe to that theory. I personally don't, but I just wanted to let you know you're not crazy. ^^

Since Japanese has no diphthongs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diphthong) the correct pronunciation is "ya-oh-ee". If you want to diphthong-ize it then both "yow-ee" and "ya-oy" are equally valid (or invalid).

106. For a while I thought it was like "yowee" and then I was told it was "yah-oy" and that's kind of how I say it, lol. But I mostly just say slash anyway. Easier, more recognizable.

109. Oh god, yes. I do birthday doodles for some of my friends. It's not even that I like some more than the others -- it's what I've got inspiration for. People asking for them would really put me off of doing them.

The movie you screencapped definitely used that interpretation, too. Notice Iago engaging in anal sex with his wife, reaching for Rodrigo's crotch, and doing other gay stuff that has slipped my mind. But anyway, it's totally a legitimate theory. I like it. I also think Iago's hot, but I usually like the villains and/or psychopaths (just fictional ones, though). Yes, I have a thing for Darth Vader.

There's a modern version of Othello that you have to see (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0275577/) - it's got Christopher Eccleston in it (the Ninth Doctor).

If you google around about homosexuality, Othello, and Iago you can find a lot of scholarly articles about it.
