Rec something, ask for recs, you know the drill.

I kinda want to read some Thorki after years of not touching the MCU fandom with a 10 foot pole but I don't know what's good anymore, especially since so many fics include so many of my squicks (unfortunately, I have a whole laundry list of those).

As long as it's roughly in character, I'd read anything from fluff to drama, h/c, plotty, PWP smut. I have read astolat's fic.

What I really don't want is: M-preg, pregnancy in general, female Loki, intersex Loki, trans headcanons, "normal life" AUs (like high school etc.), dom/sub. I also remember getting a bit annoyed at the mass of Jotunn!Loki/Thor arranged marriage fics back in the day, but I'd take it as long as it doesn't overlap with the squick list (which they often did afair, and often untagged, so I never really tried).

Oh, and please no fic that contains huge spoilers for the new movie, but I think there aren't a lot of those yet, anyway.

Make It Go Away, Or Make It Better by rayemars
Okay, this IS a high school AU... -ish. (It isn't set in a high school. Thor and Loki are recently graduated and at Thor's family's summer vacation home. The plot revolves around the drama caused as they try to conceal their new incest relationship AND clash with their family's criminal/intelligence/govt background.)

It's also tagged as Dom/sub, but I don't think that's an accurate label for what's in the story. There's a lot of under-negotiated fucked up sex between a pair of REALLY fucked up teenagers. There's a lot of rough sex, and Loki is really bossy and manipulative. Later in the story there's a minor plot where Thor seeks advice from someone outside the relationship and this discussion is framed as if they had a more formal Dom/sub dynamic going on.

But this is, imo, one of the best-written and best-characterized pieces of Thorki fic out there. rayemars 100% nails Loki's thought patterns and motivations, and Thor's POV as well.

This is almost more of a MCU/comicverse crossover in terms of characterization and style. Basically, Thor goes hunting for Loki. Thor catches Loki. There's some sex, shenanigans, bizarre magical cannibalism, etc.

(Man, it is REALLY HARD to find Thorki without intersex Loki!)

I've never been in this fandom but after watching Thor: Ragnarok yesterday, I got curious. The list is appreciated <3

I'm showing my age terribly here, but try Eros Ramazzotti? "Piu bella cosa" etc.

I guess Tiziano Ferro has quite a few love songs as well?
I like Non me lo so spiegare (the version with Laura Pausini) but it's more of a break-up song.

Something more in the folk direction would be Angelo Branduardi and I love his music a lot but he doesn't have an overwhelming number of love songs. Very pretty though.

I also really like A Chiara Piace Vivere by Gemelli Diversi. Also "Mary" - great song but very dark topic.

poo recs

A diet high in fiber, including leafy greens like spinach, swiss chard, cabbage, etc. Also, make sure you're drinking enough amount of water because most people aren't.

Horrible Histories. The poo facts and jokes start right from ep 1.

The books can also be very poo-centric.

I recommend you come over and help me clean the turtle tank.
