I suspect they do it to cover up their real personality. Like if they make a big deal of being so feminist and everything, it will hide the creepiness better. But it just makes them look like even bigger hypocrites when they get caught.

There were jokes about it. There were female comedians who wouldn't get anywhere near him. Read about Jen Kirkman or Roseanne Barr. Gawker posted an article "Which Beloved Comedian Likes to Force Female Comics to Watch Him Jerk Off?" in 2012 that didn't name names, but a lot of people understood to be about him. I thought it was true and I stayed away from anything with him in it. For fun, you can read about his new movie, I Love You, Daddy - C.K. cowrote, he plays the daddy, a television writer whose teen daughter has come into contact with an iconic film director, who is rumored to be a pervert and a pedophile (alleged to be a child molester), with a predilection toward much younger girls.

The trailer (with Spacey) was released like a month ago. I assume this movie is going to be delayed?

They say they are going to try to meet the scheduled release date of Dec. 22. Spacey had about 8-10 filming days for the movie. His role is important, but the movie focuses more on Michelle Williams' and Mark Wahlberg's characters. I think it's possible, but they are going have to literally cut it close.

Lol on that, but am legitimately disappointed that "Gore" (biopic about author Gore Vidal) will never be a thing. I would've loved to see that, since I like the author and the guy was pretty interesting for his time. Well, maybe it will be a thing, but since Spacey directs and stars in it.. ehh.

I saw the trailer for this right after all of the stuff with Spacey started to go down, and it did make me wonder if it would affect how well the movie did, since at that time it was still just Rapp's accusation and there was a chance the notoriety could actually increase the box office draw. It soon became clear that was unlikely and I wondered how well the movie would ultimately do. This is pretty unprecedented, but I can't say I'm sorry for Spacey. I'm glad for everyone else who worked on it that they're taking steps to give it a fair chance. (For some reason, I thought Christopher Plummer was dead. I don't know who I'm mixing him up with.)

Jeff Kaplan said this in an OW panel about Jack Morrison (Soldier 76) and Gabriel Reyes (Reaper).

"One of the examples of [complex characters] that excites me that we're gonna delve into that I--I don't even think our audience understands fully yet because we haven't explained it well yet is that like, Reyes and Morrison, especially in the early days--for those of you unfamiliar with the story, at one point Reyes was in charge of Overwatch when it formed and when it became more of a thing after they defeated the Omnic Crisis, Morrison was actually given the top position of power and Reyes was overlooked because he was too rogue, he was too maverick in his leadership style--he ruffled too many feathers.

And a lot of our fans have assumed "oh, that's why Reyes and Morrison hate each other," and the story that we're developing is actually, like--no, these guys loved each other--like--they're like, best war buddies. And in a lot of ways, Reyes was relieved that Morrison had to have the more political role, and like, he was like kind of--it's always easier being the number two guy because you're not ultimately accountable for all that, Reyes was kind of, you know, in some ways thankful and relieved, um, and weirdly, we're gonna show how that relationship actually was Morrison's downfall because for so long, Morrison would actually defend Reyes's questionable actions.

And to us, that feels more like what would actually happen between real people and less just, um, typical cliche black-and-white "this guy is bad, that guy is good," you know, we want to have that depth of relationship because I think it's ultimately more relatable to all of us as kind of human beings."

Even the majority of Reddit's response was that these two 'best war buddies' better be some of those other LGBT characters we were promised in OW.

The "incel" group (that is, "involuntary celibate" group that frequently posts about how raping women should be legal and how women who have sex with men that aren't them are sluts, attractive men who do have sex with women should be castrated, etc.) has finally gone to hell. Literally. or not. anyway it's dead haha
