Sure, communication sucks in this story. But some of the arguments being thrown around are just plain bullshit. No, going up to someone's apartment isn't carte blanche consent for sex on the first date. No, letting someone go down on you isn't consent for anything else. My read is that the anonymous woman was giving off multiple slow down signals. When that happens, the smart thing to do is sit down with tea or a beer and talk it out.
