It's not bullshit. Females have little trouble relating to a male lead, but males (at least boys) often have trouble with female leads.

That being said, exist to be a damsel in distress? I'm trying to think of a Pixar female that plays the role of damsel in distress and failing completely. Jessie, Atta, Dory, Elastigirl, Collette, Sally, Eve, etc. None of them. In all honesty, in many cases the female is really the stronger character.

It's certainly better than Disney. If the female is a lead she's a damsel in distress and just wants a guy. If she's not the lead... well same. Even their strong women are usually reduced to DiD in the end. There are some exceptions (hello Mulan and Pocahontas), but still.

117. Oh snap! I heard about that and yeah, I agree. I never got to see the second season and I've dragged my feet on catching up since I heard it ends rather abruptly. If I ever go back to watch the rest of the series I won't deny that this kiss part of the reason why.

Who needs morals when you have fandom, anyways? ;) Kidding, kidding. I ship a ton of incestuous pairings, what's one more?

I believe that an upcoming Pixar movie DOES have a female protagonist. I think it was called "The Bear and the Bow?" That's what I read on Wiki anyway.

Thanks for correcting me, anon! Now I can see just how wrong I was for thinking that there is any sexism in fiction!

I...really don't even see exactly what you're responding to with this declaration of "completely wrong." I never said that female characters were somehow inherently different than male characters. They're both...fictional people created to tell a story. I just commented on the different ways they're often treated.

150- I don't know why you stop at Asians. The biggest weaboo I know is Asian, just not Japanese. Japan=/=Asia (And honestly I would wanna avoid a Japanese girl that did, but for different reasons. The kind that go around crying "CUTE!" and calling people "Te-chan" just aren't my cuppa tea)

162- What I never got is, why, if he ruined it so much, every thing he touches is pretty much gold. Sour grapes that their stuff got big and now it's full of, god forbid, other fans? IDK I'm not enough of a gamer to really investigate (or care) but it always seemed silly.
