Bloopers

what shows have the best bloopers

links appreciated

What has sucked for you recently?

(Anonymous) 2018-02-06 12:26 am (UTC)(link)
As major or minor as you want.

(Anonymous) 2018-02-06 12:28 am (UTC)(link)
I'm definitely not into underage stuff, Billy/Mrs. Wheeler included, but this is very, very mild as far as underage goes. He's seventeen, and he appears to be quite sexually experienced. In fact, I bet he has way more sexual experience than Mike's mom, who married her highschool sweetheart. Not that him being almost legal and quite sexually experienced makes it okay for her to have sex with him. It's still wrong. But unless the show tries to pass it off as a good thing that she's having an affair with an underage boy, I have zero problem with the storyline.

Supernatural has some really good ones. Here is one of them that will probably lead to the others. https://youtu.be/ZniLLblWaW8

It's always a simpler, happier time when people just like people instead of feeling they have to qualify that feeling, or arguing about whether their fave is problematic, or hoping they don't look uncool for liking last year's It Girl/Guy, or straight-up trashing people.

Media with "good guy" reptiles?

(Anonymous) 2018-02-06 12:34 am (UTC)(link)
What are some good pieces of media with reptiles (especially snakes, lizards, and/or crocodilians) in heroic roles rather than their traditional role as villains?

My Monday has been awful. This morning I crashed into the shitty stairs in my driveway and crushed a corner of my rear bumper.

And then the copy machine at work kept jamming. Thankfully, other people were dealing with that.

Then, a product we create was late from our manufacturing plant. We air shipped it to the US instead of boat shipping it. It arrived in the US on time. About 2 hours from our distribution center, the truck hauling it crashed and caught on fire. So all the product was destroyed and everyone is pissed and stressed about it.

I wouldn't consider myself a fan of his, per se, but I do quite like him, and yeah, I'm sad that he seems to have fallen out of fandom favor somewhat.

Especially since I'm also a Taylor Swift fan, and the idea that people have such an OTT hate-on for Swift that he lost their favor because he dated her is just...what the fuck? That's so awful and stupid.

I wouldn't blame them after TLJ. And I actually hate Star Wars.

16 is the age of consent in Indiana

(Anonymous) 2018-02-06 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
Though, apparently, the absolute minimum marriageable age in Indiana is 15. So, that's strange.

In most of the world (including a majority of US states), 16 or under is the age of consent.

Of course, the age of consent in California, where a ton of things get filmed is 18, so it may be over-represented in media.

(Anonymous) 2018-02-06 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
Because relationships with age differences like that are often exploitative. The younger person is usually being "groomed" by the older person.

I hate when people ask for large amounts of meat shaved (cut so it's basically shredded/shavings of meat) because in order to do that you have to hold and slice it in a way that actually hurts my shoulder muscle.

People who come in and start to order something and decide they don't want it JUST as you're handing it to them. Could you maybe decide that before I've made a whole sub?

Multiple people coming in and complaining about us not having french baguettes. When we do have them people buy them all up really quickly they're a high demand product. besides not like its my fault we don't have enough. I don't order products.

Our manager trying to fill in almost every damn day we have with hours. I like getting hours but really I need breaks.I'm good with like..38 hours.

I mean... maybe. But I don't think so. I do think he was a troubled kid and adult, but I don't think it was due to being autistic, I think it was due to a troubled home life.

I could maybe see a personality disorder.Maybe.

Mass Effect has several good guy reptile like creatures. Thane in particular is coming to mind.

Zelda: Ocarina of Time has the fish race Zora. They are all nice in OoT.

Rango has a lot of good reptiles (including the titular character).

Kung Fu Panda has Viper who is a good guy.

(Anonymous) 2018-02-06 12:42 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I can see it.

Re: 16 is the age of consent in Indiana

(Anonymous) 2018-02-06 12:42 am (UTC)(link)
I think you meant 16 and over.

It's always a little weird with teenage characters.

(Anonymous) 2018-02-06 12:42 am (UTC)(link)
Because they are so often played by actors who are not teenagers. And sometimes I look at the character and don't see teenager. The actor for Billy is 23 and I'd maybe say he looks a little younger, but he definitely does not look 16 to me.

What exactly was it about "The Taylor Swift Thing" that caused such frothing rage?

I mean, I get (without making any assumptions as to which of the two, Hiddleston or Swift, these might apply to):

1) being disappointed if a celebrity you have a crush on is dating someone who is not you, and trying to vent your emotions in a way that maintains plausible deniability that this isn't just about your crush on a famous person you likely would never meet,

2) being irritated that a celebrity you don't like hearing more about has reason to be in the news,

3) being irritated that a celebrity you don't like is dating a celebrity you do like - or at least feel neutral about,

4) being irritated at the possibility it was for publicity only, because that's kind of lame and you don't want to see a celebrity you like doing that, and

5) thinking they don't make sense as a couple (as if you would know).

However, I still don't understand the absolute seething OUTRAGE the whole thing incited, given that other celebrity relationships don't tend to have that reaction - disappointment, squeeing, or wtf, sure, but not FLAMING RAGEBALL!!1!

Why would you give your child a toy that makes noise? And if he found it, why is your child out of your site when trying to travel in a world where you are being hunted??

Personality or social disorder, I think.

This is probably more common than you might think. And the teachers do it to the students too, but not in the fanfic-y way (god I hope not because then it's just creepy) Kind of a "aw they'd be cute together" gossip-y thing. "Hey how are those two in second period doing?" "She dumped him over Snapchat, it's getting really awkward." "Ouch."

Trustworthy places to buy anime figures?

(Anonymous) 2018-02-06 12:47 am (UTC)(link)
I'm going to get a little extra bit of money from taxes this year and I'd like to buy a few anime figures but I have no idea where to go. Does anyone have any suggestions of where I could start?
