Sound sensitivity
(Anonymous) 2018-02-16 12:10 am (UTC)(link)I've done basically nothing all day but read with ear plugs in. I haven't left my room much at all. And I usually like to watch tv in the evening, but the idea tonight actually makes me wince.

(Anonymous) 2018-02-16 01:43 am (UTC)(link)Here are the orgs recognised by the AKC. That might be a good place to start.

Thank you.
I bought Sharif on March 25th, 1998, after saving up for years to buy a horse of my own and searching high and low for months to find just the right one. I was twelve and he was five at the time, and despite a rocky start (his previous owners lied to me about his training levels and had drugged him when I tried him out at their place. The first time I rode him after buying him I was on the ground two seconds after my butt hit the saddle), he ended up being the best friend I've ever had for almost twenty years. We had so many adventures together, and I wouldn't trade a second I spent with him for anything in the world. He was loving, patient, goofy, beautiful, prissy, always eager to please, and was quite possibly the most food-motivated horse I've ever met. I miss him so much, and would give anything to have him here with me again. I feel so lost and empty without him.
Goodbye, Sharif. You were an amazing horse and a better friend than I ever deserved. The world is darker without you.
