I thought the Best Animated Feature category had a pretty strong lineup - yes, even including the Boss Baby. just because it doesn't make you cry or use a different technique doesn't mean it's without quality.

inb4 "The Academy only votes Pixar/Disney, if it's warranted or not." I swear the same person has told me that three times in the past month like I don't know.

I'm ace and sex-repulsed, but if I HAD to fuck anyone, real or fictional, or else something horrible would happen (even worse than being coerced into having sex by the threat of something horrible happening), and they'd be guaranteed to be willing...it would so be Tony Stark.

The Sanrio Boys anime sounds like it should be right up my alley. I love Hello Kitty and co. and I'm a sucker for Cute Boys Doing Cute Things. But the concept Sanrio existing as a toy franchise within the show gives me horrible secondhand embarrassment. I don't mind toy commercial shows when they're like... Pokemon, for example. But this type of advertising is too blatant. I wish I could get over my embarrassment, because I really want to watch and like it.

I like Valkyrie. Actually I love her. And I think people who only talk about her as a character who helped slavers missed a whole lot about the storyline. Such as the fact that we don't have any evidence that she had any way off Sakkar or any choice. Yes, she made money, but it still seemed like she was just as much forced into it as anyone on the planet. I might actually consider her a slave too.

I thought I had a strong stomach and wasn't easily shocked anymore, but I am really sorry I watched the last episode of Black Mirror Season 4. "Secret" because even if someone had told me what was in it I'm sure I'd still have watched it.
