I've seen all the passion over this. And I don't really get it? Reality shows have twists all the time. It happens. And there are often surprise winners. That's just par for the course. Why is this one so different?

But then again, I avoid this show because I find drag makes me uncomfortable. The whole straight men dressing up as stereotypical women makes me wince a bit (not when it is not straight men, though).

My daughter loves RuPaul's Drag Race and we watch together sometimes and it's so damn fun. And what anon said - i don't think any of them have been straight men.

That seems like something that is fairly normal in reality shows to me. Does the best person ever win? But I've never seen this show, so I don't know if it is different.

I did not know that it wasn't mostly straight men. It has always struck me as making fun of women. But I'm willing to admit when I'm wrong. Maybe I'll check out the show.

It's definitely not making fun of women. You really should check it out. Sometimes it's so amazing, and the contestants have so *much* talent. Sometimes they don't, but hey - they're just people.

Drag, at least on RuPaul is very trans and gender-queer positive, very body positive. It is also it's own little world, so do take things with a grain of salt and look stuff up/ask questions if something strikes you as weird or off or bad.

But Shangela is gorgeous. This was her look of disappointment when it was Ruvealed that she didn't make the top 2, and the still does not do her justice.

While I have to agree that Shangela should have been top two with Trixie, I can't agree with Kennedy > Trixie.

I don't like Kennedy at all. I definitely think Trixie beat her since I didn't see a lot of lip syncing from her vs dancing around. The dancing was nice but it was still a lip sync. I think it was stupid as hell to put her in the top 2 because she needed it.

I think she probably should have been out ep2 or at snatch game, maybe? The spice girls tribute at the latest. I've also got unpopular feelings because I would've loved to see Morgan make top 4 because of the drama of a return queen benefiting that much.

I'd have died to see Morgan top four myself. Also AGREED. Kennedy essentially was mostly dancing and what little lipsyncing I saw was nowhere near "on point". Trixie did actually freakin' lip sync, tbh. Not that I'm keen on Coattails Mattel.

Yeah I don't like her personality or her drag. I'm a tiny bit biased because I love Milk and she was so fucking mean to her that it killed any remaining charitable thoughts I had towards her.

I kind of figured Trixie would win because All Stars seems geared towards giving the crown towards the fan favourite/un-winner of certain seasons?

But yeah I would have liked to see Morgan go further too.
